Help a Navy Vet

Help Needed

I am the wife of a retired navy veteran, and I humbly am asking for a little help. My husband proudly served his country for 21 years and 6 months. Now we are both disabled.

The Short Version

My sweet husband has a movement disorder, called spasmatic-tortacollis, the worse case of it that any of the specialists that we have consulted have ever seen. He is in constant pain.

My husband is getting worse all the time and I am afraid of losing him. as for me I am losing the feeling in my right side due to the fibromyalgia, and I fall a lot.

We owe more than $40,000 between our medical and other bills. We need to sell our house, but to do that, we need to put about $7,000 in repairs to bring it up to code.

That's where you come in. We need your help to fix our house so we can sell it and move to Ohio where we'll have family to help us and better doctors to care for my husband.

We have tried to help ourselves. I hope that our Lord will put it in some of your hearts out there to help us. And may our Lord bless you that do help & even those who don't.
