          About Us

Hello  my name is Helen and i have been keeping poutry for a number of years now and a few years ago i got interested in showing my birds. I first saw pekins when i went to a local farm,  i couldnt believe what i was seeing these beautfull little hens with slippers on .  Well that was it i was hooked on the little darlings and looked in local adds for some of these pekins . The first i had saw were the buff pekins and when i arranged to go and see a local breeder about buying some i was shocked and very excited to see these little chickens with the slippers in so many different colours. So i emptied my purse and bought a trio of blue hens , then some buff then some partridge ect.

Well as you can see i was getting addicted to these chickens as lots of poultry people will tell you this is an very addictive hobby.  Then i went to another breeder (not so local my other half has driven me all over the country looking for chickens) BLESS HIM.  And that is when i saw the Silkies. well i was even more suprised by these birds ,  they didnt seem to have feathers they had FUR well i had to have some of these too , then by chance i saw some polands and then the japanese bantams and the rest is history as they say.
