We are the family of God

As the family of God, I believe the most important thing for us to do is to learn that we are all one body, though different parts.  We learn at different speeds, we all have different functions and talents.  We are one church.  We are not this denomination and that denomination, we are ONE church- the body of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this world we live in, it is difficult to tell a true believer from a good heathen and it is hard to tell which children are children of the king, since we all conform to this evil world we live in.  I would challenge the church, the pastors of our churches, and the people who name the name of Jesus to wake up and smell the antichrist, and the antichrist spirit, spoken of in II John.

God has called us to peace, but he has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.  If we don't stand up for what is right and true and just, then who in the world is?  When I go walking and have to buy a paper for $1.50 but I can get pornography for 25 cents, I know something is very wrong indeed.

Come on, family of God- open your eyes.  The word is very clear.  It's not difficult to understand.  We can either choose death or we can choose life.  Which do you choose?  You must answer this question- it's between you and God, but remember that we who are walking in light have the right to judge those who claim to be walking in light, so be very careful.  There is always, and I do mean always- someone watching you.  I'm not talking about God, that's to be understood without words. I am talking about a person who may or may not be on the brink of coming to Christ and just as he/she finally gets there, they see you or I do something that sets them back, thinking that we are supposed to be  perfect.  We are not perfect, and human nature is strong- but Greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world.

We can't change the world's perception of us as a group, most likely, but we can make a difference one person, one event, one witness at a time and if each of us do that and are faithful with that, then eventually we can do it as a group.  But in order for revival to take place, repentance must come first.  We must see what we are or are not doing and we must change it.  The Bible says that to him who knows to do something and does it not, to him it is sin.  That applies to sins of omission (what we should have done and didn't) as well as sins of commission (shouldn't have done and did).

I'm not perfect.  I sin, do things that I shouldn't, but I strive every day to make a clean start.  Why don't you give it a try?  God loves us so much and he is hurt when we make a lie out of Jesus' death and resurrection by listening and bowing down to satan's ploys, which is exactly what happens when we sin.

Join with me, family of God.  Join with me in making a difference.  A difference in people's lives, particularly those who can not help themselves, whether it is mental illness, possession (which much mental illness is) or just down for the moment.  Employees, offer them jobs, not by race or creed, but because you are only a circumstance away from being where they are.  Employees, work your hearts out.  Work and Worship are synonyms.  Love God, Love your neighbor.  These are the two greatest commandments.  On them, rest all the commandments.

God bless you!!!
