"URGENT"

We got a call about an injured kitten with a torn off leg!

This poor abused cat was in the WV Animal Control bleeding

from his injuries and in pain!

We Pulled him, and had him rushed to the vet in West Virginia!

The animal control facility he was at was about to euthanize him!

Here is a closeup picture of his leg, SEE the Blood!

We are are asking help with funds to save this kittys life, as he

has endured much blood loss and is running a high fever per the vet!

He will NEED extensive surgery!

UPDATE:

This cat is NOW at our rescue and even has a potential adopter!!

He had his surgery and is faster on 3 legs then any other cat!

We are so lucky that God helped us to save his life!

We named him "Hoppy"

AKA

"Survivor"

Heavens Safe Haven Cat Rescue

Is a NO kill Non Profit Rescue.

We are dedicated to saving the lives of homeless abused and neglected felines.

We provide SAFE shelter, food and medical care to both Stray, Feral, and Owner Relinquished cats.

We focus on Rescue, Foster Care, and Veterinary Care for Felines in East TN
These Felines receive temporary homes by us until we can find through our Adoption efforts good safe stable forever homes.

We want to be a valuable resource to our community, as we believe that one person CAN make a difference in the life of an animal in need.
So as an organization we utilize our strengths to be able to help more animals.

I Am an Animal Rescuer

My job is to help, protect and care for God's creatures.
I was born with the Noble desire to fulfill their needs and Save lives.
I take in new family members without plan, thought, or selection.
I have bought cat/dog food with my last dime.
I have patted a mangy head with a bare hand.
I have hugged someone vicious and afraid.
I have fallen in love a thousand times
and I have cried into the fur of a lifeless body.

I have Animal Friends and friends who have animal friends.
I notice those lost at the road side
And my heart aches ......
I will hand raise a field mouse
And make friends with a vulture.
I know of no creature unworthy of my time.

I want to live forever if there aren't animals in Heaven
But I believe there are.......

Why would God make something so beautiful and perfect and leave it behind?
We may be master of the animals,
But the animals have mastered themselves
Something people still haven't learned to do.

War and Abuse makes me hurt for the world
But a rescue that makes the news gives me hope for mankind
We are a quiet but determined Army
And making a difference every day.

There is nothing more necessary than warming an orphan
nothing more rewarding than saving a life
No higher more Noble recognition than watching them thrive and grow
There is no greater joy than seeing a baby play
who only days ago, was too weak to eat.

I am an Animal Rescuer
My work is never done,
My home is never quiet
My wallet is always empty
But my heart is always full.

Memory Lane ....

Ecc 3:21
What knoweth the spirit of a man that goeth upward?
or the spirit of the Animal that goeth downward to the earth?
So in other words the bible might be telling us that =
Animals Spirits "Stay upon"
the earth after death.

This verse could also indicate that Animals would have a Soul.

Please Note that the bible says the spirit of an animal goes downward TO the earth,

It does not say downward INTO

the earth, so it would make sense

that the animals spirit would stay

upon the earth after death.

Because, first upon death the

spirit must RISE out of the body,

once it rises the animals spirit goes

instead of up, goes downward to the earth

or back down to the earth, where

it could remain free to walk the earth.

So if you have a pet you have lost

due to death, please take comfort

in knowing that your animal is probably

still upon the earth with you.

Doo Dad was the sweetest cat of all time! She was also very smart and loving!
She loved little kittens and would always care for them.
I called her my "Cat Nurse" as she was always assisting me while I helped sick cats.
I would fix them and she would comfort them!
She always knew if a person was sick too and would not hesitate to try and help them.
You will be badly missed Doo Dad my sweet Nurses Assistant.
