Heavensown Boarding Kennel

Our Junior Kennel helper- Kirsten our grandchild

Kirsten has a real love for animals and is a great help at the kennel. She plans to start doing some dog shows soon and is already talking about dropping me and James *the hubby* off at a nursing home then taking over the day to day operations of the kennel and our rescue work! Big plans for a 7 year old~!~

Our Caring Staff

We are thrilled to have Christy working with us at the kennel. She is a Senior in high school and a true animal lover. She is wonderful and kind to our guest and always has a warm smile on her face. We could not have found a more perfect helper to care for the great pets that visit us here at Heavensown. Thank you for being such a sweet and special young lady. Christy will treat your companion with lots of love and attention while he/she is visiting us here at Heavensown.

Thank you Christy for EVERYTHING you do.

The kennel smells so great thanks to you!!!!

Kirsten gets in a little training time with Miss.Gracie before she leaves. She was working with her on the down command!

Cecilly was our first offical paid helper and we feel so blessed that she accepted the position. She has since finished high school and started college. She also works 2 jobs and plans to still help us when her sister Miss. Lacy is not available. What a girl! She has been a Godsend to me over the past year and I feel honored to just have had the opportunity to get to know her. She is a such a honest and caring young lady with real goals and plans for her life! Thank you for everything you have done this past year and I wish you only the very best!

If I recall this was the first doggie bath that Cecilly ever did here at Heavensown. She had such much fun with the dogs, and as wet as she was should have climbed on in with them!

Our Volunteer Staff make our Rescue work possible!       Thanks for ALL you do.      Your such a blessing!

Brittany has started helping us out on days that she can. She is WONDERFUL with the dogs and loves to take them on walks. We feel so lucky to have her working with us at the kennel. She is a very hard worker and puts a great deal of emphsis in giving the dogs the love and attention each one craves. She helps make them feel at home while they are visiting us. THANK YOU Miss. Brittany for all your help you are a blessing to us and the dogs who visit us at the kennel.

Tommy is a wonderful young man who donated his birthday to us! He asked his family and friends to buy things we need  for our rescue work instead of buying him gifts! This remarkable young man will always have a special place in my heart. He is such a kind person with a heart that could teach us all about caring~!~ God bless you Tommy! He is at the top of our kennel friends list for sure!!!

A SPECIAL BIG HUG and THANK YOU goes to the beautiful young lady pictured above. Miss. Emma has spent countless hours helping us to care for the dogs at the kennel. Emma has been selfless in her gift of time and love with the rescue dogs we have had over the past year or so. She is such a blessing and willing to help in ANY way possible. I am so very happy to have her around and to have her caring support for the dogs. Emma is planning to be a vet when she grows up and I have NO doubt that this wonderful young lady will be excellent in what ever field she chooses. Your HELP and COMPASSION is more of a blessing than I could ever put into words Emma...thank you for all you do!

Emma also has a very special mother who is always on the back side of a camera or I would post her picture. Lisa T. has helped us out many times not to mention her Taxi service for Miss. Emma to join us for so many hours each month. You are so kind and considerate Lisa and your help is a vital key in keeping us going and has been for some time now. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

BIG THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES! Madison has been one of our greatest little surprises! She went to her friends, neighbors and family asking for donation. What a donation she managed to collect for the dogs! This was all her own idea and what a very sweet young lady for thinking of us. And to her family I must say a big thank you for sitting at the neighborhood club house half a day and gathering all these wonderful gifts up for us. The dogs really enjoyed EVERYTHING that was brought and we really appreciate the manual help that Madison has offered us over the past 6 months or so. Your such a sweet special young lady and we feel so blessed to have had the chance to get to know you. God bless you and that special warm heart you have Madison!

Brittany and Emma take a moment to pause from the work they do for a quick picture. These are by far the BEST doggie walkers around ....bar none!  They are very fun to hang out with also....watch your back when they get a water hose or squirt bottle in those little hands~!~
