Heart Children Taranaki, covers a wide stretching area from Urenui to Waverley and over to Whangamomona and includes New Plymouth, Stratford, Hawera, Opunake, and Okato districts too.
If you think that the Taranaki branch is the most convenient for you, we would be happy to hear from you. We have neighbouring groups in Wanganui and the Manawatu.

How we can help you.
The support group was originally established in 1994 and was changed to an affiliated branch in 2004 to allow us to provide more services to our members.
Number of Families Supported: 66 (as at May 2009)
We can provide you, your heart child and their siblings with support in many ways: emotionally, educationally and having fun with other families who understand the daily challenges you face.
How you can help us.
Becoming involved in the fun activities, fundraising or committee work. We are not a high pressure group. You choose a level of participation that suits your family. Friends and relatives of heart children are also welcome to become members of Heart Children New Zealand.
