It has always been our ethos to create a night that is so alluring that people will attend regardless of who the entertainment is and as such we do not advertise the acts before they appear.

We have never used bands notoriety to try to attract people to the night, only the promise to you that it will be second to no other. This has been hugely successful over the last 5 years at the Crescent Arts Centre with sell-out crowds attending every show, and we carry this forward into our new home at the Spring & Airbrake.

We provide a stage for new, emerging and established local talent to perform a six-song-set for your delight and delectation. The ‘bit in the middle’ is now synonymous with the night giving a space to local performance artists from the world of circus, contortion, burlesque, comedy, acrobatics . . . anything goes really.
