The Earth (Gaia), in its own way, is a sentient, living being. Many cultures understand this, but few in our modern western high tech world do. The rivers, lakes, mountains, and forests of the Earth function much like the blood vessels, organs, senses, brain, glands, and hormones of the human body.
Earth is very similar to our bodies. The ancient wise people believed that "weather" is an expression of Earth's emotions. Through life experience, we absorb the energies around us. Because of human activity (generally quite coarse), the earth has absorbed this energy, and continues to do so at an increasing rate. This energy builds up in its aura just as our experiences build up in ours, and from the chakra articles, we know blocks and disease can occur from this. If you consume too many toxins...your body will react... perhaps via regurgitation, fever, or diarrhea -- but there will be a physical reaction to the overload of toxins.
Because earth cleansings are caused by a build-up of negative energy, they can be triggered by a crescendo of events, such as a war. Such cleansings-- generally known as "weather disasters"-- follow major events such as a large war... nuclear testing, chemical dumping, cutting down forests, widespread violence... (etc.) The magnitude of the weather disaster is relative to the size of the negative/toxic event.
Earth cleansings are major events. Pollution creates a warming planet -- in which hurricanes and tornadoes find the need to cool things off. That is their job, much like your body sweats when your skin gets too warm. The polar ice caps melt -- and oceans and lakes react to toxins dumped into them. The oceans, lakes and rivers flow over their normal banks -- and cleanse the surrounding areas. Faults buckle, which triggers both tidal waves and volcanic eruptions along the Ring of Fire. The vibrations during this process in the subtle plane are horrendous.
Some ancients believed that these "cleansings" may be pre-arranged, scheduled events within the higher order of things (zodiac) ... built into the nature, elements, and functionings of the Earth. In other words, the negativity will never prevail because of the natural cleansing processes.
Though New Age thinking widely supports the idea of impending major Earth changes and accompanying weather disasters, these events are not seen as "doom and gloom", nor indeed as "the end of the world", but rather as a process of cleansing and rebirth, presenting exciting and challenging opportunities for mankind to take a significant upward step in evolutionary development.
And while the destruction in earth's past was smaller and more localized due to population, this time, it is global. Previous localized destruction was caused by tens of thousands of humans, whereas billions will cause this global destruction. History is speckled with cleansing stories such as-- Atlantis, Sodom & Gomorrah, and the story of Noah's Ark.
Scientists at NASA have recently discovered that the planet Earth is emitting a loud (awful) "screaming" noise. Normally, the Earth emits a humming sound, generated by radiowaves...but it is now screeching...or "crying."

DON'T CONFUSE ME WITH FACTS OR WEATHER REPORTS !!!
The most respected scientific bodies have stated unequivocally that global warming is occurring, and people are causing it by burning fossil fuels (like coal, oil and natural gas) and cutting down forests. The U.S. National Academy of Sciences, which in 2005 the White House called "the gold standard of objective scientific assessment," issued a joint statement with 10 other National Academies of Science saying ... "the scientific understanding of climate change is now sufficiently clear to justify nations taking prompt action. It is vital that all nations identify cost-effective steps that they can take now, to contribute to substantial and long-term reduction in net global greenhouse gas emissions." (Joint Statement of Science Academies).
In addition to the pollution caused by burning gas and oil, destruction of forests, and the regular dumping of poisons into the lakes and rivers -- another PLANETARY ABUSE comes in the form of bombs. Whenever bombs are dropped, the explosion releases all sorts of horrible, deadly toxins into the air and water. So, in addition to killing the target, bombs also kill the vegetation and animal-life that is effected by the explosion. NUCLEAR BOMBS are the worst offenders. Other environmental problems are created from the NON-degradable plastics, toxic chemicals in our food, and other chemical-laden products that cities dump into junk yards every year.
As the WEATHER FORECASTERS and SCIENTISTS proclaim that the floods in Iowa and the Midwest U.S. are of extreme and MAJOR SEVERITY porportions-- unheard of in modern history --- yet there are a few detractors and some dishonest (anti-green Earth pundents) who want to argue that burning oil & gas does not cause pollution.... and they also advocate that there is no such thing as "global warming" and that the "climate is not changing"-- or that pollution and gases created by humans is not effecting the environment.
In much the same way as the BIG TOBACCO COMPANIES argued several years ago that..."smoking does not cause cancer" -- these anti-environment advocates do the same...trying to pull the wool over our eyes about the harm caused by pollution.
They are once again acting to CONFUSE the American public and to detract from scientific facts as to what is going on with the weather and environment. In fact some go so far as to try to convince us that -- the bad weather we have been seeing with our own eyes is "normal."
Most of these GLOBAL WARMING detractors and "debaters" are those who are either connected with BIG OIL COMPANIES or otherwise politically inclined (right-wing) to support the burning of gas and oil...based on strange motives of selfishness. They claim that somehow...getting away from oil dependence and "GOING GREEN" will cost us too much money. But they also don't bat an eye at the costs of the WAR ON TERROR-- the one we got conned into in Iraq.
And most of these "anti-global warming" fanatics have fanatical religious reasons for denying that something horrible is happening with the weather. Some of these zealots want to spend time ... "attacking Al Gore and environmentalists"--- while they continue burning oil, polluting the air & water, and bankrolling the oil barons, cruel dictators, and terrorists of the Middle East-- because LIKE TRUE JUNKIES...
they refuse to admit they are addicted -- or that oil is a major cause of pollution and is helping to finance the wars. There may be other motives for keeping the public in the dark over the environmental issues and problems... e.g. -- BIG BROTHER trying to con us into believing that..."there is no such problem..."

Some want to debate Al Gore with unfounded inuendo and lack of facts. They bring up all kinds of irrelevant (sometimes ridiculous) arguments about -- FOR EXAMPLE...how ..."weather has always had periods of bad storms..."--- or ..."It was cold in a certain part of the country --thus, there is no global warming." And other people simply escape facing the climate change issue and they say...."weather is in God's hands." Basically, these people use every excuse or argument to evade the fact that humans are at least partially to blame.

And worse, they have no legitimate explanation for the CLIMATE DISASTERS and WILD WEATHER that have continuously increased since the days of HURRICANE KATRINA. These weather patterns were UNPRECEDENTED. There is nothing "normal" about any of these wild fires, tornadoes and storms....they have been huge...monsters. There are droughts in the southern part of the U.S. where is was normally very humid.
And now that gasoline has reached more than $4.00 per gallon -- others want to argue that ..."all we need to do is drill for more oil." Somehow they have developed amnesia...and forget how G.W.Bush and his cronies promised (scammed us to think) that the War in Iraq would bring down the gas prices. That did not happen ! In fact, gas prices have more than trippled since that lie was told.
First of all -- we cannot DRILL and drill and drill and drill more -- to solve our fuel and energy problems. We need to build more energy efficient cars -- and stop bankrolling Middle East Oil Dictators. In addition, the technology for "fuel efficient or electric vehicles" already exists.
There is an old saying...
....." When you find yourself in a hole....stop digging deeper."
This argument about using more oil is nothing but the same old dead politics that have lead us to the depressing point that we find ourselves today: FAILING ECONOMY, LOSS OF JOBS, WARS, HIGH FOOD PRICES, LACK OF ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE, FAILING SCHOOLS, WIDESPREAD DISEASES AND DRUG ABUSE, ...and moral decay.
Some have proclaimed to the world ridiculous things as: NOBEL PRIZE WINNER "Al Gore is lying or scamming..." --- or....such statements as: "My mission is to disprove this myth of GLOBAL WARMING."
SPEAKING OF SCAMS: If there is any SCAM involved in this issue...it is the fact that our politicians have not stopped BIG OIL from running the biggest PONZI SCAM in the history of the world. We pay dearly for using this oil -- at the pump, in War, and in sacrificing our beautiful planet to unnecessary pollution. We now know from many sources that the WAR IN IRAQ was nothing but a scam...we were conned and tricked into attacking Iraq. That was for control over oil and the money!
The highly publicized book by ex-White House Secretary Scott McClellan is one piece of evidence that we have been SCAMMED by the Bush Administration and others. But there are other reports and witnesses who claim that there is a big conspiracy to exploit the masses of people and to continue these horrific policies to make big oil and other big corporations rich at the expense of innocent people.
The ENVIRONMENTALISTS are correct in their assertions that "pollution is causing climate change"-- but there may be much more to the story (such as-- who is dumping the worst pollution in the air & water) ...and the motives for this situation !

Second, whether one believes in "global warming" or not --what harm would be done if the U.S. develops more "alternative fuels"-- which are clean and renewable--thus creating jobs for people right here in the U.S.A.? Considering the BILLIONS OF DOLLARS spent and lives lost in the (scam) War in Iraq, which neither made us safer nor brought down oil prices....that same money could be spent to create cleaner energy forms, develop vehicles that do not pollute, and create more jobs for people in the U.S. And some have created vehicles that run on cooking oil and water. Also, solar powered vehicles have already been developed and are in use. At least 30 years ago....GM manufactured a very good ELECTRIC CAR.

And now the big SUVs and HUMMERS (and similar gas guzzling vehicles) are on their death-bed. People cannot afford to drive them due to high gas prices. Karma ????
What is wrong with investing in the advancement of clean energy ???
NOTHING....unless you simply are "anti-clean planet..."
Even if there were no greenhouse effect, all of the fossil fuels will be depleted within a few hundred years. If humankind is going to have a future on this planet, at least a high-technology future, with a significant population of several billions of humans continuing to inhabit the Earth, it is absolutely inevitable that we'll have to find another energy source. One of the staunchest advocates for the adoption of alternative energy sources to stave off ill effects of global climate change is a voluble professor of physics at New York University named Martin Hoffert.
Why do we need to look beyond fossil fuels?
Although horrific climate disasters have wiped out entire cities in Indonesia, Burma and China -- flooded major cities in the HEARTLAND of the U.S.A. -- and increases in wild weather events have continued to rise-- these "nature-killers" --polluters and pundents continue to bury their heads in the sand and pretend that pollution is not at the very least part of the cause of Mother Earth's rebellion.
Third -- Unfortunately, these detractors from the truth may never complete their "mission to debunk Al Gore and other environmentalists' ideas about climate change" --because of the fact that THE CLIMATE IS CHANGING right before our eyes (daily) ...resulting in disasters, loss of crops, water restrictions due to drought, wild fires, deaths, evacuations, and much worse. The people who survived HURRICANE KATRINA and those suffering from massive flooding in Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, and the HEARTLAND of the U.S. (and in other weather disasters) -- would probably concur that we need to do something NEW and clean up our environment.

Although there is the strong possibility that there are other causes for the horrific weather patterns (as prophecized by many religions) --- certainly we must acknowledge that pollution and MAN'S DISRESPECT FOR MOTHER NATURE is a huge contributing factor....dumping poisons, chemicals, toxins, and radiation into the air and water.
In addition, prophecies from nearly every culture, society, visionary, prophet, religion, and scripture ever written-- including the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran -- also claim that these problems are caused by "human destruction."

COULD THIS BE HUMANITY'S FUTURE?
IMPORTANT BOOK REVIEW: "Pole Shifting"
These authors provided evidence that, at the end of the last Ice Age, a race of people settled in Egypt following a catastrophe in which their own homeland disappeared (i.e. Atlantis). The Sphinx and pyramids were remnants of those times, about 10,500 years ago, and encoded into them was information about the catastrophe.
Gino found that in both 9792 BC and 2012 AD, Venus makes a "planetary retrograde loop" -- a “pole shift of the Earth on its axis” -- above Orion, and near Gemini. Gino said that Venus makes the same "movement" "about every 250 years", but "only in 9792 BC and 2012 is the precession the same! The next date for this event will be 3114."

There is also discussion and debate concerning whether it is merely a matter of reaching a certain "time period" that causes these shifts, or if human activity coupled with consciousness or spiritual awakening -- reach a "climax" at a certain time period and must be cleansed or altered in order to rejuvenate the planet. MYSTERIES OF CRYSTAL SKULLS:
Scientific researcher of ancient artifacts, Richard Shafsky discussed his work with the Mayan crystal skull and how it has conveyed important information about Earth history and changes. He was first introduced to the Mayan skull in the 1970's via a Mayan shaman, whom he said entrusted him to protect and share the wisdom of the artifact.
The Mayan skull has conveyed messages about coming Earth changes, as we enter into a new era, what the Mayans call the "the 5th World," he shared. As we move into a new galactic zone, cyclical changes are affecting our solar system and the sun, and this will increase cataclysmic events, such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, particularly in California, he offered.
This planet, and all species of life on the planet are in the process of ascension. Ascension means that all first and second dimensional lifeforms will "move up" to third dimensional lifeforms.
Humans, or third dimensional lifeforms, will graduate to either fourth dimensional worlds or fifth dimensional oneness depending on their level of evolution and their intent.
The ascension is occurring now as a step by step progression, and will continue one way or another, for that is the will of all.
Normally, planets and the species of life incarnate on the planet are ascended via cataclysmic disasters that usher in a death-resurrection cycle. It does not mean existence only as a spirit in celestial worlds, ascension is also physical.
As a process, it changes the physical body while merging the body and the spirit into one being. This being is a perfected being of light, in a physical body of light.
This ascension progression actually began thousands of years ago, with the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt.
The story of Moses leading his people out of bondage is a metaphor for the ascension progression. The incarnation of Jesus was a major turning point for the process because as an Avatar, Jesus was capable of taking on the "sins" or Karma of all humans and transmuting that energy to light.
