NOTE: The ending times may be subject to change. If fencers wish to stay later they may as long as Adult Supervision is present at all times and someone with a key is there to lock up.

* We are not having a summer Parks n Rec session, but we always welcome new fencers to take lessons from one of our competitive fencers or from a coach!
Private lessons are free and will be available on Mondays with Coach Rich Wayland and Monday-Thursday with a competitive fencer. This is your time to get the private lessons that are included with your membership level (see the membership form as a reminder of how many you get). There is a sign-up board on the wall, so make sure to get your name up! The length of the lesson is at the coaches discretion and will be based on demand as well as your attention span.
Group lessons Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be directed by a competitive fencer. Every effort will be make to keep everyone who is at the club actively involved and fencing on these nights. The activities for the lesson will be at the discretion of the coach. Newer fencers who aren't ready to participate will still be able to get private lessons during this time.
Membership levels, dues, and payment terms are as follows:
Requirements of Membership: The following four requirements must be completed for membership in the HDFC: 1.) signed membership form 2.) signed code of conduct 3.) annual membership fee 4) first and last months' dues

A $25 annual membership fee is required for all members
ALL MEMBERSHIPS REQUIRE A TWO MONTH MINIMUM (first and last months' dues)

We will host a number of workshops over the year that will offer training and lessons from visiting coaches. Information on dates, times, and fees will be distributed and on the website as it becomes available. Let us know if you are interested.
Our fencing year begins September 1 and ends August 30th. August is a free bonus month when dues are paid for June and July. The $25 annual membership fee will be billed in August for continuing members in place of the monthly fee. Your type of membership is registered Sept. 1 and may be changed at any time by submitting notice to the treasurer. Membership period is monthly with a two-month minimum, which consists of payment of first and last months dues. New members are welcome any time. The first month's dues may be prorated to the starting week of the month. Thereafter dues are due on the first of the month. Dues are past due after the 10th (tenth) of the month. Dues going unpaid after the 20th (twentieth) will automatically apply the last months dues to satisfy delinquency and membership and club privileges will be withdrawn on the last day of the delinquent month. To re-instate membership a new first and last months' dues are required. Withdrawal from the club requires 30 (thirty) days notice, which after notice will apply the last months prepaid dues. After notice is given, we will apply your prepaid dues to the last month.
