Degree Progress

On May 19th 2007, I received my Master of Science degree.

For the Ph.D. I am required to fulfill certain course requirements, as well as complete the Written Comprehensive Exam in 2 areas.  As of now, I am done will all course work with the exception of Dissertation credits, and I've passed the Written Comprehensive Exams in 2 areas:

1) Algorithms and Theory of Computation

2) Architecture

This means I'm ABD (All But Doctorate).  It seems ABDs get picked on for being one quite often...

Thankfully, I have a potential dissertation topic now!
