The next morning the Hardy household got a phone call saying that they have caught the person who murdered Lea Ann Hokper but he won’t admit to kidnapping or killing Laura.

It was now Monday so Frank and Joe had to go to high school. They didn’t speak to their ex-girlfriends at all. And there was another new transfer student whose name was: Amelia Callie Shaw, but she said that she liked to be called Callie.

Then that evening the 3 Hardy men were sitting around the kitchen table eating take out for the 3rd time. And as Frank was clearing the table he heard the door open and what sounded a lot like his mother calling out “I’m home!!” Fenton, Frank and Joe all ran to the front door… they all stopped in there tracks.

Laura Hardy was standing in front of them with a grin on her face “ I got the book.” She said. Then, Fenton, Frank, and Joe all began yelling at her at one time. After there yelling streak Laura asked them “ Didn’t you all get the message on the fridge that I left you or the e-mail that I sent all 3 of you that I had to fly up to New York to get my book?”
