Quick and easy birdy bread
One package of corn bread muffin mix. Can be Jiffy or the other package brands. Prepare as directed and if it calls for an egg be sure to leave the shell in there! :)
Now, look in your cabinets! If you have a can of cream corn, I've found they like this best. Or use regular whole kernal corn and I've even used green beans. Be sure to rinse off the juice because of all the added salt.
Add some nuts like walnuts if you have any laying around and I also put in some hot red pepper flakes.
