info: Giant 6ft5in goalkeeper, now going in his fourth season with the East Belfast outfit. Played every game last season, keeping over 10 clean sheets  and also scoring 1 goal. One of the few players left at the club to have won the European Tongerlo Cup in 2003. Known for his aerial ability, long kicks and reaction shot-stopping. Crothers has played over 100 games for the Blades. Also a regular for the Blades Senior Squads.

info: Signed from Orangefield mid-way through last season, Taylor has become a first-team regualr under Paul McMurray. Still searching for his first goal, the pacey full-back has been very solid so far in his time at the Blades. He is involved in a lot of Blades' attacks down the right-flank. Missed out on the club's European games last season, but should feature this term.

info: Originally signed to provide competition for Brian Horran at left-back, Dickie eventually forced him out of the club to St. Mary's due to his consistent form. He has forged a good partnership with Jason Harper on the left-wing. Sure to be a contender for this season's player of the year award, as he has diplayed superb concistency all year. His reading of the game and superb tackling are a great asset to the club.

info: The hard-hitting centre-back was converted from centre-midfield to great affect last season. Crozier has been an almost ever-present in the Blades 2nds team this season as well. Known to opposition teams for possibly the wrong reasons, Crozier has a huge presence on the pitch and is never scared of a tackle. This is one of the reasons for the large amount of cards he has picked up in his four years at the club.

info: The rock at the back of the Blades' defence this season. Morrow started at the Blades in 2002, but moved to Dungoyne Boys two years later, before returning in September last year. A former club captain, Morrow slotted straight back into the starting line-up at Avoniel and has looked impressive. Renowned for his tackling and heading ability and reading of the game.

info: Now in his second spell at the club, the lanky centre-back has never found a regular first-team place at the club. However Young has been a more than useful squad player and has filled in when needed, including a brilliant display in the club's 5-0 win over Carnmonney Colts last season. Young also recieved the Player Of The Blackpool Cup award.

info: Originally signed as a striker in 2004, Barklie was later converted into a midfielder, and more recently a quality defender. Can play on the right or in the middle, and has looked solid in his appearances so far. Never one to hold on to the ball too long, Barklie likes to play things simple, which suits the blades' 'pass and move' system.

info: A summer signing from Carnmonney Colts, Craig played at centre-back before being pushed up into midfield for his creative play. A good dribbler, passer and strong tackler, Craig has looked at home at the East Belfast giants, and has already had a number of eye-catching performances this season. Played against the Blades for Carnmonney Colts last season.

info: For what Armstrong lacks in height and stature, he definately makes up for it with his good work effort and attitude. A neat passer of the ball, Armstrong has been used in a variety of positions in his time at the club. Has found it hard to hold down a first team place due to the physical nature of the league, but has appeared several times.

info: The vast amount of talent in the Blades midfield has given Lavery limited opportunities, and he has struggled to compete, due to his small build. info: Top goalscorer last season, when he hauled in a massive 20 goals from left-wing. Harper has the ability to unlock most defences, with his dribbling trickery and has a fiercesome shot from long-range. Harper scored a magnificent brace in the club's final game of last season. He is also known for his set-pieces and is not afraid to track back.

info: Brother of right-back Matthew, Nathan Taylor has settled into his time at the Blades very quickly. Nathan can play in several positions, but his most favourable role is up front, where he was used to great effect by former clubs, Bloomfield and Orangefield. A player with a keen eye for goal, he is the youngest member of the Blades u17s squad this year..

info: A reliable player with an outstanding work rate. Millar has scored some spectacular goals in the last four years, including last season's Goal Of The Season, when he scored a sublime volley against arch-rivals Carrick Rangers. info: One of the Blades' star players this year, Patterson was a surprise summer signing from Dungoyne Boys, and proved an instant hit. Used as a striker at both Dungoyne and Ards, Paul McMurray converted Patterson to midfield, were he has been very impressive, with his surging runs through the middle of the park, and great balance and strength.

info: The former Glentoran striker scored 17 goals  in all competitions last year. Tweedie is known for his bag of tricks, pace and neat dribbling. Sometimes criticised for lacking an end product, but when he's on his game, he proves to be a handful for most defences across the country. Tweedie likes to drift out right, and has good crossing.

info: Released in 2003, McKimm returned last year to the Blades' full advantage. 13 goals firmly helped the club's campaign, and he'll be hoping for even more this term. His electric pace and aerial ability have proved too much for many defences he has faced. Sometimes criticised for lacking composure, McKimm makes up for it by creating chances with his brilliant work rate.

info: Another new signing in January, Lemon has already featured in a Blades shirt, and is looking for more experience during the rest of the season. Lemon is composed on the ball, and is a good tackler. Going forward, his link-up play ahs looked good, but he sometimes waits too long before choosing to pass, but this will be stamped out with more matches.

The huge competition for places at the club has meant McClean has had only small opportunities to show his skills. A good dribbler and passer of the ball, with good fitness.
