Harvest Church is a brand new Evangelical Free church that began meeting with public worship services on June 6^th, 2004. We meet Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM at New Life Church in downtown Hugo.

Harvest Church is for everyone—literally.  We will have people from many denominational backgrounds and none are excluded.  In fact, if you have never been to church before, Harvest Church would be a perfect place to visit.

Harvest Church is different because our focus is not entirely on the Sunday experience but on building relationships.  We emphasize mid-week small groups.  We have a blended/ contemporary worship style, a fellowship time at the end of the service, sound Bible teaching and a commitment to excellence with our children’s ministry.

A few of the founding members of Harvest Church were involved in several churches in Hugo over three years ago.  In 2002 they were introduced to the Evangelical Free Church of America and began working with First Free of Maplewood to form a daughter church in Hugo.  In 2003 they called a full-time pastor and began training with a core group of 23 adults for six months to help build the infrastructure of the church.  This training concluded in May of 2004.
