Hartwin Stud has been breeding rabbits since 1989, we focus on the quality and personality of our rabbits, breeding true to type and to the size of the BRC Standards.  We have shown rabbits for a number of years, and have managed to gain Best Of Breed on a number of occasions, including Runner Up Best In Show.  However, we have stopped showing for now, this is due to a number of reasons, but we are still breeding to the BRC standards.

Hartwin Stud was the creator of the Black Otter German Lops, being the first to work with colour.  However, it came to the time where we decided to give up the breed, we know that there are at least another 3 BRC members working on them now in order to carry on from where I left off, which is fantastic.  There are also a good number of Black Otter German Lops within the pet side now too.  We will continue to promote the otters, especially after gaining Best of Breed a few times in the past with them.

We are now just a small breeder of the Miniature Lops, breeding for our own pleasure and still working on the colour, type & personality of our rabbits.

From time to time we do have excess stock for sale.  Please check out our sales page, however we do only have a small number of rabbits so do not often have many for sale.
