Lincoln Harmony Camp 2009

'Once you meet a friend in music you never lose them'

Who Can Attend?

Students

Any student, male or female between the ages of 13 and 18 inclusive, with a desire to sing.

It would be nice to think that programmes such as the BBC productions 'The Choir', 'Last Choir Standing' & 'Choir of the Year' might just give you the urge to try singing as a hobby.
The ability to read music is NOT a requirement as we will supply all applicants with sheet music and learning material on a CD from which to learn your voice part.

Whether you sing in a school or church choir, or for your own enjoyment, the thrill of singing four-part harmony in the barbershop style is an experience you won't want to miss.

We will, of course, welcome singers from the three barbershop organisations in the UK as long as you meet the age limit criteria. Full application details can be found on the 'How To Apply' page.

Mentors

As the majority of the campers are likely to be under the age of 16, it will be neccesary to appoint a number of people to act as mentors to look after their welfare.

The minimum age for a Mentor is 18 (at the commencement of camp) and your duties are laid out in the 'Mentor Job Description' which can be downloaded from the 'How To Apply' page.

If you feel you would like to apply for a post of Mentor, complete the Mentor Application Form, also on the 'How To Apply' page, and return it to the address on the page.

Applicants will be encouraged to take an active part in ALL the camp activites, but will not be expected to make any payment.

Appointment will be subject to CRB clearance.
