Ratha Yatra
Ratha Yatra is a parade of the chariots of Lord Jagannatha, Subhadra Devi, and Lord Baladeva, and originated in India in a town called Jagannatha Puri. At the temple in Puri, Lord Jagannatha , Lord of the Universe, is worshipped in one of the oldest temples in India. The underlying meaning of the Ratha Yatra parade comes from a sweet pastime between Sri Radha and Sri Krishna, when Radha asks Krishna to please return to Vrindavana and even tries to pull his chariot to her home. Lord Jagannatha's procession represents Sri Krishna returning to Vrindavana.
