All of our dogs are our pets first and foremost, second we are new hobby breeders of chihuahuas. We have both long coat and smooth coat chihuahuas. Our breeding program will be in full swing in 2007. Right now we are just happily loving and raising our furbabies that all live with in our home, outside only for what is needed, walk on leashes (harnesses only) around the block, etc.
Our wonderful experiences started with our daughters first chihuahua, Twix. Sarah was in college, but over the Christmas holiday, she fell in love with a little fawn/white male chihuahua pup. At first we were kind of hesitant, as we already had two pugs, Rocky & Spartacus & we knew when she went to school we were going to be raising this pup. Well we went to see him, fell in love with him immediately, at that point we purchased him for her for Christmas.
Sarah went off to school, we were totally hooked on Twix! About a year later she was married, they stayed with us for a short period of time and purchased their second male chihuahua, Reeses (chocolate brindle)! They soon moved out and we were left with our pugs, no little tiny dogs. The story is history from there, we now have 6 chihuahuas and of course our Rocky & Spartacus!
{Actually I was one of those people that "hated" chihuahuas! When I was growing up my grandparents had this little white smooth coat chihuahua (I don't even remember his name). He was one of those that would run out and bite your ankles, only liked my grandparents! I litterally hated that dog! Well, needless to say, when Twix and Resses came into our lives, I realized that most are not like that and much of it is how they are raised. I will admit that not everyone is cut out to be a chihuahua parent!}
They are the best and most special breed! We are totally commited to our chihuahuas! We want to breed for betterment of the breed, not only standards, temperment, color etc.! All of our furbabies have fabulous temperments, beautiful colors, those that are AKC have some wonderful championship pedigrees (to be posted at a later date). All of of our furbabies live with us in our home as members of our family!
Our dogs will never be sold to pet stores, 3rd party "dealers", puppy mills...etc.
We want the best for our babies and will do all we can to try to have them go to the best possible forever home they can be in.
We reserve the right to deny a dog or puppy to anyone we feel is not the right person(s) for that particular pup/dog.
And as this point in time, we are not going to be shipping our puppies, they must be picked up. We personally like to meet the people we purchase our furbabies from in person. Wouldn't you like to meet us and see how your prospective new baby is being raised?
