Welcome, all. This is my happyfunland shrine to the most talented duck I've ever met: DAFFY DUCK. I've always thought of Daffy as the unsung hero of Warner Bros. animation, always playing second-fiddle to a lagomorph with an overbite. The true talent of Daffy always shines through, however. All other Warner characters generally play themselves in every cartoon, but Daffy, being the quintessential thespian that he is, has always run the gamut as far as characterization goes. Let's face it, when Bugs Bunny is in a cartoon he's playing Bugs Bunny. When Daffy is on the screen you might be enthralled by such characters as Duck Twacy, Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century, Dripalong Daffy, The Scarlet Pu..Pu..Pumpernickel, Robin Hood, etc.!!! This wide range is something Bugs would never do. One can't blame this timid woodland creature, he obviously doesn't have the talent to keep up.
