Happy Dogs Walking is the perfect choice for those who want their dog to get a bit more attention than regular dog walking services. Because we walk in small groups, we can afford to really nuture your pet and tailor the walk to suit their particular needs. With other companies you just don't get that level of attention!
Do you do group walks?
Happy Dogs Walking is a bespoke service catering for small groups of 1-2 dogs maximum. For this reason we are unable to take more than 2 dogs at a time as we believe it will compromise our ability to provide an attentive and nuturing environment.
Happy Dogs Walking combines all the best qualities of group walks without any of the dangers: aggression, injury, possible neglect and (in the case of unspayed females), impregnation. We have and always will regard the dog as the top priority.
Who will walk my dog?
Your dog will be walked by one of Happy Dogs Walking's team of handlers. All handlers have great experience in caring for animals and are rigourously trained and vetted.
Happy Dogs Walking will endeavour to place your dog the handler to whom we feel they will respond best. Where possible, the dog will be walked with the same handler every booking. However, clients should be aware that this may not always be the case - and if so Happy Dogs Walking will select another handler under own discretion, and endeaour to contact the client first. The important thing to remember is that the client is hiring Happy Dogs Walking, not the individual walker, so you can be guaranteed to have peace of mind.
Are you insured?
Happy Dogs Walking staff are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked at 'enhanced' level. We believe strongly that our clients need to feel secure in hiring us and we strive to maintain a friendly but professional image at all times. All our handlers are vetted and rigourously trained and we have good references for your peace of mind.
To maintain security, if we have to keep hold of your key (for picking up the dog whilst you are out etc) then it will be coded from your address and kept in a locked and inconspicuous cabinet.
Will you meet us beforehand?
All new agreements are subject to a preliminary meeting between dog, handler and owner. This is a chance for both parties to address any concerns and for the dog and handler to meet. We will also provide an information sheet and our terms for your peace of mind
What is your cancellation policy?
There is no cancellation fee if more than 24 hours notice is given - in such a case we will hopefully reschedule without problem! There will be a cancellation fee of £5 if less than 24 hours notice is given. If for any reason the company has to cancel a walk with less than 24 hours notice, the client shall be entitled to a free 1-hour walk.
