Free Fallin' started as a concept story midway through my freshman year of high school, because I wanted to combine my two passions: writing and music. I started writing out song titles that would make good chapter names, before I even knew what the chapters were about and where they would be placed. Then I narrowed the list down to what it is now, put the chapters in order (that was difficult, not knowing what each title meant for the chapters yet) and made an outline. The first five chapters were written in about two weeks, and after I got to 15, I posted it on FictionPress.com. Free Fallin' has been one of my biggest projects, with 35 planned chapters and more than a year's worth of writing in it.
Current status: Chapter 33, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," is in process of being written.
