The Silly Hanson Fan!!!!

This is me. I am the "Silly Hanson Fan" with an extreme problem. You see, I am not a very shy person, I just don't have anyone to talk to about certain things, the most important being Hanson. None of my friends like Hanson. In fact, most of the, including all the members of my family, make a point of NOT liking Hanson. Therefor, I am left trying to keep my Hanson fandom going with little to no support...needless to say, it is not easy. I almost lost touch with the whole Hanson scene until recently. Over Spring Break this year (2003) I made a point of going to Hansonline.com for the first time in about 3 years. I was finally able to reconnect with my favorite band and I really hope to keep that connection this time. My purpose for making this site is simple- I NEED FRIENDS!!!!! Well, actually I have many friends, more specifically I NEED FRIENDS WHO LIKE HANSON!!!! I need to have people with whom I can seriously discuss Hanson music without them cringing and laughing at me the entire time. I will put up links to my email address all over this site, so please use it! Don't be a stranger...even if you are a stranger!

Anyways. About me:

Name: Shannon Renee Nichols

Age: 17 (18 in a month. whee!)

Height: 5' 3"

Hobbies: Art (its more of a lifestyle than a hobbie, and eventually it will be a career), writing (religious sci-fi...yes it does exist), Playing the bass and singing in mine and my dad's band Mission From God (Its a lot of fun).

Favorite Bands (other than Hanson): Enya, Sonicflood, Switchfoot, Nora Jones, The Beatles, Heart, Mark Schultz, Micheal W Smith, and many others.

Favorite Movies: Sleepy Hollow, Casablanca, Star Wars (the original 3), Much Ado About Nothing, Evolution, Muppet Treasure Island, Peter Pan, and Fairy Tale: A True Story.

Favorite Hanson Song: "This Time Around" though I really think they could have done such a better job on the video. The song had such a deep meaning and they hardly explored it at all in the video. Oh well. Begining to enjoy Broken Angel more and more. Who knows, it might soon take over this spot. We shall see.

First Hanson Concert: Er...don't even remember the year...I think it was 1999. I know it was during the summer. It was at Hershey Park and we had seats really far away from the stage, but Mom and I still had fun (Mom is the only person who can discuss Hanson with me while keeping a straight face, so she went to the concert with me).

Dream: To meet Hanson on a good hair day.

What's new: Just recently I got carried all around Council Green by a couple football players. In fact it looks like that will be a regular occurence now, seeing as its part of my role in my Shakespeare's class performance of The Tempest. Sweetness. Also, I just got a violin! Yippee! Now if only I knew how to play it...

Classes: Shakespeare w/ Professor Dick Gibson (Quirkiest class in the entire world), Mythology w/ Dr Janet Haavisto, Foundations of Art II w/ Professor Jack Turnock (my favorite professor ever, we listened to the Animaniacs soundtrack in class once!), Figure Drawing w/ Professor Dave Lauderdale, and Intro to Sculpture w/ Professor Dana Chapman.

Updates

Friday, January 23, 2004

Goodness, I am such a bad webmistress. When was my last update? I can assure you that I definitely forgot to put it on this page. Well, here's the scoop. I'm gonna rework the fanart page to make more room and make the loading time less. I'm also gonna get rid of the Street Team page because I've done absolutely nothing with it and its totally useless. Instead I think I'm gonna start a daily journal (we'll see how long that lasts). I think I might also mess around with making some more graphics so this thing is a little more interesting. Hopefully this will work out. We shall see...
