The Big Day
Our handfasting (wedding ceremony) will take place at the Historic Catskill Point park complex, in Catskill NY. Not only is it just a few blocks from our apartment, it's also a beautiful place to enjoy the fall foliage and views of the Hudson River, Olana State Historic Site, and Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Our ceremony will be held on the dock, and there will be a tent (in case of rain) and chairs so that everyone is comfortable before and during the wedding, regardless of the weather.
Our ceremony will begin at 3:30 p.m. Afterwards we will be travelling to the Pegasus Restaurant in nearby Coxsackie, NY. The reception begins at 5 p.m. and will start with a social hour, leading into a family style sit down dinner. Music will be provided by Party Pro DJs, Arlene & Roger Maben, who will be keeping spirits high with both American and Latin music all night long. Photography is being provided by Matt Ramos Photography, by both he and his wife.
Directions
From north or south, chances are you are going to be coming along the Thruway or Route 9W. If you need directions from either of these landmarks, please let us know!

The Ceremony is held at "The Point" which is a park in Catskill. The address is 1 Main Street.
From Thruway Exit 21 (Catskill) to 1 Main Street
That is a left-hand turn off the Thruway exit onto CR-23b. I couldn't map the thriway exit, so I used the toursim office that is right on the same intersection.
If you are coming from 9W-south, Once you enter Catskill, at the 4th traffic light, you will take a right onto Bridge Street. Take another right onto Main St at the first traffic light *after* you cross the Catskill Creek. Follow Main St to the end.
From 9w-north, as you enter town, the road slopes noticibly downward. as you near the bottom of the hill, there is a ramp going back uphill on the right. Go up that ramp and turn left at the crest of the hill. This takes you downhill again, over 9w and onto Main St.
From the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, turn left at the traffic light onto 385 (Spring St). This road comes to a "T" at a church and turns right onto Bridge St. Bridge St brings you downhill to a traffic light. Turn left onto Main St at the light.
The park is at the very end of the street on the right. There is no parking in the park. Parking is on the street. However, we have a volunteer on a golf cart who will be ferrying people back and forth for us. If you can't park close to the site, wait a few moments and flag the man down.
The Reception is held at the Pegasus Restaurant, in Coxsackie NY. This is about 10 miles north of Catskill. It's right on 9w.
From 1 Main Street to the Pegasus Restaurant
The only trick here is the transition from Main St to Allen St to 9w. when you hit the top of Main st, the road does something of an "S" curve and then slopes downhill. At this point, if you follow the road you go uphill and over 9w. What you want to do is bear right onto Allen Street instead.
Allen St curves left back towards 9w, where you can take a right to head north towards Coxsackie.
