I am constantly creating. If it's not knitting, it's spinning. If it's not fiber, it's photography. Even when I'm watching a movie I'm usually making something with my hands. I love the process of creation, making something from nothing, or almost nothing. I'm a passionate reader, though I'll be the first to admit I'm a pulp reader. I love supernatural romance novels, supernatural thrillers, mystery, historical romance, fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and I enjoy a lot of young adult literature. My favorite authors are listed above.

I have a spiritual connection with gourmet dark chocolate. You may laugh, but it's true. A well crafted gourmet dark chocolate will send me into fits of enlightened ecstasy. There's a fine line between dark and TOO dark though, just so you know. 70% is just a tad on the bitter side, while 64% is fantastic. Anything labeled just plain old "dark" is usually perfect, no questions asked. You haven't lived until you've had Godiva's Raspberry filled dark chocolate candy bar. *drool*

Singing is another great passion of mine, mostly Karaoke. When I get the urge to go out I'll patronize the local Irish pub. It's just like Cheers in some ways, everybody knows my name. I feel almost bad sometimes because I'm such a light drinker that I get a night's worth of entertainment and only pay for one drink. ;)

My family is Puerto Rican on both sides, and I grew up a lot differently than most kids I went to school with. Exotic food, music, and frequent family or guests who spoke Spanish as a first language were common. I come from a religiously diverse family, but I can honestly say that I'm the only known Pagan amongst them all. You could say I'm the black sheep when it comes to matters of faith and politics. *grin*
