10th Septenber 2006 Bridport Away
The boys started brightly we got an early goal by a corner taken by Adam Wood who delivered the ball straight onto Robert Brunts head who saw the ball in the back of the next putting us boys up 1-0. A kick over Harry Kings head by midfield which he curled the ball into the bottom corner of the goal it was a great start to Harry Kings goal scoring streak, The 3rd was blasted home by the one the only Jake Baker. It could have been many more but it just wasnt our day with the wind blowing and the rain falling. Also with a few injuries under our belts the teams morale is down anyway.
17th September 2006 Poole Borough
The boys turned up thinking they were going to lose and were 1-0 down at half time becasue of some poor passing and then the boys got some jaffa cakes and we came out in the second half looking like a new team. Then Luke Gee got the ball and with one hit slotted it passed the keepers hands in the bottom corner then soon after Adam Wood went on a run and tapped the ball paseed the keeper who didnt even realise when that goal went in we just went for it we knew we could win it and Harry King gave it that extra bootst with chipping in the 3rd. Then it was capped off with a last minute left footed strike into the top corner of the net by Adam Wood scoring his 2nd of the game while Simon was trying to do his best to keep the ball out the other net while Tim was sat down and had nothing to do. Then the national champion of snooker shown us how to play pool after in the clubhouse.
