Hamofide have built a reputation for their fierce, high energy performances around Wellington & New Zealand. They have performed at such events as the 2002/2003/2004 Aotearoa Hip Hop Summits, Respect 2003 & Bodyrock 2002/2004 to name a few.
2003 saw Hamofide film their first music video for "Seen the truth", a song produced by Moz, featuring USOuljah & Tic from Fob Mode Squad. .
As far as recording music, Hamofide have spent much of 2003/2004 in the studio recording for their debut release, with production by Hamofide boardsmen Kase, Moz, Ram & Ashtray.
Recently Hamofide featured 2 songs on the bonus disc of DJ Sir-Vere's Major Flavours volume 4 , "P-Town State of Mind" & "Hating Game", both produced by Kase, who also featured on the main disc with a scratch break. USOuljah & Ovadosage both have freestyle tracks on Major Flavours volume 3.
2004 saw the release of Kase's Family First Mixtape featuring Hamofide, Fob Mode Squad & Temple, which is now sold out. Major Flavours volume 5 saw Hamofide appear on the bonus disc with "P-Town State of Mind (Hard Kase Remix)" and also in the form of Creek Kids with "Wreck Centre" both produced by Kase. Kase also appeared weith Temple Jones (who also had a freestyle on the main disc) on "Back 2 The Books". Collectively & individually, Hamofide appeared in publications including Back 2 Basics, Disruptiv, Out 4 Fame as well as TV shows Tuhono, Coast, Mai Time and the Holla Hour.
Hamofide are currently working on their long awaited debut album as well as new mixtape.
