Welcome to 131 Hamlet Haus... Hamlet Haus is a great two bedroom cabin, in the woods, that easily entertains five people. Located less than two hours east of Duluth, Minnesota, Hamlet Haus is secluded, with wildlife and beautiful views. It is located very close to Powdermill Creek and Big Powderhorn Mountain ski hill. Nearby are the ski hills of White Cap, Black Jack, the Porkies, and Indianhead. You can access the nearby snowmobile trail as long as you drive slowly to and from it - so the locals tell us... If you are interested in snow tubing you can visit Mt. Zion in Ironwood, if you would like to cross country ski, (or mountain bike in the summer,) please use the link below for information about Wolverine Nordic Ski and Mountain Biking Center, there is also another X/C trail in Ironwood. We have a newly designed, fully equipped kitchen including a new refrigerator, above stove microwave, stove and crock pot. We have also added a waffle iron and George Foreman grill. We have redesigned the living room, and bathroom, and have had a great time making sure that all of our rooms are nicely decorated, plus supplied with plenty of games, puzzles, books and video's/dvd's. Just off the deck we have a nice warm cedar sauna for your relaxation and enjoyment. Please enjoy the woodburning stove, peacefullness, and views. If you like to ski, cross country or downhill, snowboard, snowshoe, snowmobile, or explore towns such as Bessemer, Ironwood, Ramsey, Wakefield and Hurley, you will have a great time while staying at Hamlet Haus. Don't forget the beautiful summers and the magnificence of nearby Lake Superior, any time of the year!! In the spring, summer or fall you may want to fish, (trout in nearby Powderhorn Creek ) kayak, travel along the hiking trails, or visit one of the many waterfalls. You will enjoy the experience of a ski lift ride to the top of Copper Peak, with an incredible view of two ski hills and Lake Superior. In the fall you will be amazed by the fall colors of the trees while exploring this wonderful hilly area of Michigan, located less than two hours east of Duluth, Minnesota.
