Welcome to our country's website. I am King Lewis I of Hamland, let me tell you a little about our country.
Hamland was started on September 12th 2006, when I was sitting in a meeting and was daydreaming and came up with the idea of starting my own country where we could pursue our own goals and have our own identity. This idea has grown over the past 2 years to form what is now the Kingdom of Hamland.
The country originally started as a new country project, where we intended to buy land and secede. We still have this aim in the back of our mind, but our main aim is now to simulate a real country on our forum and have the strongest country on the worlds we are involved in and to have a first class simulation where we can run Hamland as a hobby.

We work on providing a realistic economic simulation, a challenging simulation and a fun community.
One thing which we have always needed is more people. We are more than happy for anyone to join Hamland and help develop it, and we invite everyone to join.
