Completely safe add-ons for Halo, free PC games, and freeware available for download.
For these maps to work, you must download Halo Custom Edition (Free, you just need a legal copy of Halo for PC and it's key), and put the .map files in folder "maps". Download Here

P.S: It helps to read the descriptions first, trust me. Oh, and these are just ones that I know are awesome.
CMT Team: A Halo 2 style campaign, Halo 2 and Halo 3 maps for CE. Awesomesauce. (The Upcoming Evenmoreawesomesauce Campaign V2 is drawing closer!.)
Hydrolosis: Another great map from DocOctavius with plenty of custom content.
Valkryie Beta: "A glorified high. Don't drown yourself within. It's hard to get a friend out."
H2 Vista Forums: Visit for updates on lots of projects (Including CMT, Zteam, Sonic, etc.) and great maps in itself.
Mystic: An original, strategic, amazing looking map. I highly recommend it. Also available is Mystic Classic.
POA Destruction: Good for stunts and Draco/D-Pad-Up fun.
Paradise 2: Good gameplay, good graphics. Not a fun mess around map though.
H2CE: Check out download sections for their maps. They're out of business now though.
Prime C3: Just one thing. Nice graphix.
Downflow: It's good, but just to tell you, I like extinction better.
Extinction: Wow. If you like messing around in vehicles, this map is pretty much a lifetime of entertainment for you.
Cold Snap: An awesome map with plenty to keep you entertained.
No Remorse: "Turf pwns your socks off. No Remorse pwns your socks, shoes, and boxors."
Area 54: An awesome storyline-based AI driven map.
Area 53: One of the most popular maps in Halo CE.
H2 New Mombasa: Unripped, fresh, custom content. Awesome.
H2 Zanzibar: See above.
Hyrule Field: You like Zelda? (This is a pre-alpha, too early to be a beta)
Hugeass: Definetely one of the most popular maps in Halo CE, Golden Grunt winner!
Yoyorast Island: A very fun stunts map, and is a good stradgetic map for combat. Golden Grunt nominee. (Runner-up)
H2 Coagulation: A nice map, but not as good as it was anticipated to be. Golden Grunt nominee.
Cold Rush: A fun map to experiment with. Try the nukes, they're breathtaking!
Island Hop: A classic from the early Tiamat.
Ministunt: Good fun to keep you playing for hours.
PipeDream: A Halo CE classic. One that should be remembered, and an end of a career for IceTiger. AWESOME.
Super Stunt Track: A fun oldie.
Streets Of Earth City: Another fun oldie.
Halo Mods Files ForumAn AWESOME mods resource. It's all you need.
PPF-O-MATIC: Useful for applying your ppf mods to maps.
Fly Cam: Very cool and fun application that lets you "fly" through the maps, looking through a camera view.
HMT 3.5: Good for making mods.
Spark Edit: A cool program that lets you fly through the Halo levels, and modify them as you wish.
Bitterbanna's D/L Page: Tons of cool and useful apps. If you want to do the cheats on my Cheats page, d/l the dev.
I'd like to add these aren't those stupid little shareware games or flash games - just free, full games I found.
Fear Combat:This is a free, stand-alone, multiplayer only version of FEAR - Great fun is waiting.
America's Army: A game made by the army to boost recruiting. A strikingly realistic Army Combat simulator.
Cube Engine Games: Fast paced "old skool" shooting - frag out!
Armagetron Advanced: A game based on the light cycle concept in Tron.
