This is what I call a bonus scenario. In this the player who is using the good side has a chance to add another model to their list of available. This is for GImli, Gloins son and there will be another for the evil side after the Rise of Rohan.
Description:
Gimli, son of Gloin has agreed to help destory Sauron. Unfortunatly his squad has been assaulted by a company of goblins from Moria. All have died except for himself. He must now get through to the boarder of Fangorn to Gondor to meet with the men and elves...but evil lurks in these fields.
Participants:
Good: Gimli
Evil: 2 Moria Captains, Sharku (if he remains alive after #1) and 22 Moria Goblins.
Layout:
I used a 3 foot by 3 foot board. Red T's are towers, yellow rectangles are trees and brown circles are rocks.
Starting Positions: Gimli starts on the path to the right on the edge of the board, Evil starts no further East then the River, anywhere in that area.
Objectives:
Good must get Gimli past the river and Evil must kill Gimli.
Special Rules:
If Gimli succeeds, whenever Gimli is used in a following scenario he may be used. If he was killed he can no longer be used.
If Sharku is used and dies in this scenario he may still be used in following scenarios.
