Missions

PLEASE TAKE NOTE WHEN READING THIS SECTION. You will note that the playable characters (PCs) in BC have no set names. Up to now, this had not been a problem. However, this will not be the case in Chapter 7, or in the newly added Rescue Scripts.

Because of this turn of events, I have decided to introduce a Japanese concept that I had decided to use long ago but had not really had occasion to introduce to now. This is the 「マイ設定」 (My Preferences) system, in which I will use the names I have chosen for the various players on this site. This will only apply to the Rescue Transcripts and whenever a name is required in the normal Episodes. The names are as follows. If it is necesary, please refer back to the characters page.

Player A = Rosalind
Player B = St. Andrew
Player C = Samantha
Player D = Rafe
Player E = Cyr
Player F = Durman
Player G = Tegwin
Player H = Adrian

In addition, I will be placing pictures up to make identifying the players easier. Thank you.

Rescue Mode Scripts

There are two types of prison/holding facilities AVALANCHE has set up. In both cases, the Turk you are rescuing is somewhere inside the facility, and you must navigate it, while avoiding AVALANCHE members with the objective of finding your comrade.

The newer prison facility is a lot more difficult to navigate than the first. First of all, AVALANCHE will be patrolling more areas, more often. Second, the variety of attacks you'll have to dodge is increased; in the first cell, all AVALANCHE really does is run at you and try to punch you. This time, you've got punchers, kickers, people with guns, and magic specialists who use Blizzara spells to try and immobilize you. There are also various traps you will have to avoid, which are not available in the first prison. There are three kinds of traps, which are chosen at random when you decide to take a rescue mission.

When you have finally found the Turk you're looking for, you're supposed to get out of there with them, again trying to avoid AVALANCHE as you go. If it comes down to it, the best thing is to take the hits for the Turk you're rescuing, as the rescuee has an HP gauge on the upper right hand corner of the screen that decreases with the strength and frequency they are hit with.

The dialogue between characters differs slightly. Therefore, you will have the following dialogue if you rescue:

Player A (Female - Handgun)
Player B (Male - Rod)
Player C (Female - Shotgun)
Player D (Male - Hanggun [x2])
Player E
Player F

On the other hand, if you fail during a mission, you will have to be rescued. Depending on who rescues you, you will have different dialogue. If...

Player A rescues you...
Player B rescues you...
Player C rescues you...
Player D rescues you...
Player E rescues you...
Player F rescues you...
Reno rescues you...
