About The Webmaster

DA, the keeper of this site has graduated from university (as of June 2006), where she studied History and East Asian Studies. She then went to London, where she studied for and got a Masters in Japanese Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Currently DA is working in Japan as an English teacher for one of the large language schools in the country and is planning her next move from there.

She places the blame for her obsession with FFVII wholly upon the shoulders of the Triad (bless them). As far as DA can recall, it was exam period, and she decided it would be nice to try out the PlayStation to relieve stress. She discovered what she truly believes is the best RPG game ever made, and hasn't looked back since.

The summer of that same year, news came about the release of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII series. BC had just been announced, and DA had just been told around that time that she was going to Japan. There are no coincidences in this world. There is only fate.

DA began playing BC in October of 2004, and decided that maybe sharing her experiences with her fellow FFVII fanatics may not be a bad idea after all. The voices in her head were also telling her this was a good idea. In the end, she conceeded.

In her currently not-so-bountiful spare time DA likes (naturally) playing video games, especially RPGs. She also enjoys exploring the length and breadth of Japan, studying languages and taking pictures of random things that nobody else would get. Randomness is a DA's best friend. :D Leave DA cookies.
