50 CENT has warned THE GAME he will struggle to have another hit album now they're no longer on speaking terms.
50 Cent signed The Game, real name JAYCEON TAYLOR, to his GUNIT label, and released his protege's debut album THE DOCUMENTARY, which has spawned hits and huge sales. But things soon turned sour when they became locked in a bitter on-off war of words. And while mixtape fans brace themselves for an onslaught of "diss" tracks going back and forth between the pair, 50 Cent, real name CURTIS JACKSON, is letting The Game know he's now on his own.He says, "It is what it is. We don't have much conversation. I accept it. I know what it was and is."I liked him enough to do what I did for him - I wrote six records for his album... he will find the only thing harder than making a hit album is making the second one."

BULLET PROOF INFO EMINEM AND DR.DRE GET DIGITILIZED
May 19, 2005 - Given that 50 Cent is one of the most popular rappers currently weilding a microphone these days, it's no wonder that the excitement surrounding the impending release of his videogame Bulletproof is so electric.
"I'm as excited about 50 Cent: Bulletproof as I am about the success of my album, The Massacre and that means a lot since music has always been my life," says 50. Perhaps the most exciting news, however, is the addition of his cohorts Eminem and Dr. Dre. Both of his mentors have been added to the game and will be rendered as the characters "McVicar" and "Grizz" respectively. "The addition of Eminem and Dre show that this game is on the right course to follow in the successful footsteps of my music." 50 Cent has been heavily involved in the game's creation and content, which features the star's voice, likeness and music. He collaborated on the game's mechanics and storyline with former Sopranos executive producer and Emmy award winner Terry Winter, who wrote the game's script (Winter also wrote the screenplay for 50 Cent's forthcoming theatrical release Get Rich or Die Tryin').
The game will also feature new songs from 50, which he recorded exclusively for the game, as well as music from Get Rich or Die Tryin' and The Massacre. And, as an added bonus, the game will offer a sound studio mode in which gamers can mix and match new original freestyles by 50 Cent with new beats straight from the G Unit camp

I'm as excited about 50 Cent: Bulletproof as I am about the success of my album, The Massacre and that means a lot since music has always been my life," said 50 Cent. "The new freestyles and the addition of Eminem and Dre show that this game is on the right course to follow in the successful footsteps of my music.""50 Cent: Bulletproof captures the heart and soul of everything 50 Cent - his music, his life, the G Unit family - in an action-packed interactive experience with music and star power that is unrivaled," said Bruce Hack, CEO of VU Games. 50 Cent's involvement in the game has been extensive, since he'll be doing voiceovers as well as composing music for the game, not to mention delving into the gameplay and storyline side of the game too. On board for Bulletproof is Emmy award winner Terry Winter, who is a former executive producer for the hit TV series the Sopranos, and is responsible for penning the screenplay for 50 Cent's forthcoming theatrical release, Get Rich or Die Tryin'. 50 Cent: Bulletproof will feature new songs from 50 Cent recorded exclusively for the game, music from Get Rich or Die Tryin', The Massacre and 50 Cent and G Unit music videos. [May/11/05 Feds Say Irv & Chris Gotti Got Supreme Protection, Knew About 50 Cent Shooting
Federal prosecutors have recently accused Irving "Gotti" Lorenzo of receiving "street protection" from Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff in exchange for laundering money into Murder Inc. Irv and his brother Chris "Gotti" Lorenzo, recently requested a separate trial from co-defendant McGriff, who is charged with ordering the 2001 killing of Queens rapper Eric "E Money Bags" Smith. The Gottis' attorneys have maintained that their clients would be discriminated against if they sat through a trial filled with testimonies on the murder in addition to McGriff's alleged involvement in a double homicide in Maryland. Meanwhile, Assistant Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Carolyn Pokorny has just rejected the motion, stating that the Gottis looked to profit from McGriff's alleged drug money laundering into Murder Inc. Pokorny added that the Gottis had other motives. "Indeed, far from being harmed by the McGriff enterprise's murderous reputation, the Lorenzos' alignment with McGriff afforded a level of protection," Pokorny wrote in court papers. "Would-be robbers and criminals, who extort those in the music industry, knew that if they targeted Murder Inc., its employees or executives, they would suffer retribution from the McGriff enterprise." Pokorny claims members of McGriff's squad allegedly boasted to the Lorenzos about being violent and that the siblings "were aware of McGriff's alleged responsibility for an uncharged 1999 shooting of a prominent rap music artist." Pokorny was referring to the shooting of Queens rapper 50 Cent, who was hit nine times in front of his grandmother's house. However, the incident didn't take place in 1999, but in 2000 as reported on the rapper's web site. Past reports have linked McGriff to the shooting of 50, who is a long time rival of Murder Inc.'s flagship artist, Ja Rule. The prosecutor is vowing to prove that Irv and Chris knew of Supreme's revenge plans against E Money Bags. McGriff faces the death penalty if convicted of the murder. Irv's lawyer
[ May/10/05The mother of a 17-year-old that was allegedly raped at Lloyd Banks' concert at a Hartwick College has rallied supporters and demands "accountability" for the attack. "It seems to me like Hartwick has a reckless disregard for the community," the mother, who declined to be named to protect her daughter, told the Daily Star. "If they invite somebody dangerous to their school, they should be responsible for the consequences." Two weeks ago, Oneonta, New York authorities began investigating allegations of the sexual assault involving Banks' entourage. Following the rapper's outdoor performance at Hartwick's Frisbee Field, the girl filed a complaint that two men performing with Banks sexually assaulted her. The girl told police the alleged rape took place in a dressing room prior to the concert. According to police, the concert was intended for Hartwick students only. The alleged victim was not a Hartwick student. Days after the incident, police made a trip to State University College at Cortland where Banks was scheduled to perform. Authorities were hoping the trip could help resolve the investigation. State University College police stated that there were no reported rapes at the Banks performance and that no other problems occurred related to the show. Today, in protest, the mother rallied a group of college students and community members to wear white T-shirts that read "She Said No!" on the front and "4-21-05" on the back reffering to the date of the alleged assault. An informal coffee hour is also slated at the Hunt Union Waterfront of Oneonta's State University College tonight at 6:30pm. Also, SUCO student Rachel Diamond started the Community Coalition Against Sexual Assault ?a group comprised of community members, Hartwick College faculty, and SUCO students. As of Sunday, police said no arrests were made and the investigation remained open. Director of Communications Robert Clark said the administration is still discussing the incident, but that policy changes had yet to be made on concerts. "We certainly express our sympathy to the family and the victim if the circumstances prove to be true," Clark said. Clark also added that there were four armed Oneonta police officers and four campus security officer at the concert. Days after the incident, Oneonta Police Lt. Joseph Redmond revealed that the alleged assault remains under investigation and that they had two suspects. The two men were believed to be going by the nicknames "Fuzzy" and "Busy". Police also said they were having a hard time tracking down the suspects because they did not have their real names. The authorities also said that the men were part of Banks' entourage and were not longer touring with him. Banks' tour is presently proceeding on campuses along the East Coast. According to Otsego County District Attorney John Muehl, the two men stand second-degree rape charges if identified. Though he admitted that there was forced sexual activity, Muehl said that there was no kidnapping and that the two men will earn second-degree rather than first-degree charges because there was no weapon or deadly use of force. Since the girl is above the age of consent, it will not affect the charges. The young girl's mother said members of Banks' entourage brought her daughter backstage where she was raped. She also offered that local teenagers oftengo to SUCO and Hartwick concerts and that there should have been more security provided backstage. "She thought she was going to meet the band," the mother said." There were definitely high school kids having sex with those guys." The Boy Wonder is presently touring in support of his 2004 release The Hunger For More. Hartwick's Student Senate reportedly spent $26,000 from student activity fees for Banks to perform at the school. Word is between 700 to 800 students showed up for the performance. Clark told the Daily Star, "the college is committed to assisting with the ongoing police investigation." In related Banks news, the Queens rapper has been missing several dates of his college tour as of late. First, reports surfaced that Banks pulled a no-show at Plattsburgh State University roughly a week ago. Sources at the school claim Banks wasn't able to attend due to the weather. Now, New York's Daily News has reported that Banks also skipped a scheduled appearance at Eastern Connecticut State University this past weekend. The G-Unit soldier was set to headline the show with T.I. serving as the opening act.
The G-Unit takeover continues. Here?s a quick recap to what?s happening with the crew. 50 Cent is currently working on his debut flick, ?Get Rich or Die Tryin,? and preparing for the upcoming Anger Management Tour with the rest of G-Unit, Eminem & D12, Obie Trice, Stat Quo and Lil? Jon & the East Side Boyz. Tony Yayo and Olivia are adding cuts to their respective albums. If you?ve had your ear to the streets, you already know that Yayo?s been flooding the block with bangers for the last couple of weeks. Lloyd Banks and Young Buck are working on their respective sophomore albums, which are looking to be released towards the end of the year

[May/5/05 50Cent?s Ideal World Is ?Peaceful?, Rapper Explains Guerilla Unit While 50 Cent has the knack for engaging in lyrical warfare with his rap peers, the multi-platinum artist says that if he could choose his ideal world, it would be decidedly different from the way things presently are. ?[My ideal world] would be peaceful,? the rapper explained to AllHipHop.com. And, even though beef seems to make the rap and real world rotate, the Queens, New York native reveals his rough past on the south side of Hollis makes it appealing. ?It?ll be hella boring,? 50 continued. ?I think after experiencing what I have, it?ll be interesting.? The rapper stated that his ?get rich or die trying? mentality has been reaffirmed by the daily lives of normal people. ?It?s like working a 9-to-5 job. A person who does that dies before they can receive what they put in their pension. You should have it set up where you get your pension now,? he rationalized. ?But it?s not structured like that, because the money is intended to go back to the powers that be.? His perfect earthly existence entails peace, and the rapper says that war is partially why he adjusted the meaning of his G-Unit clothing line to mean Gorilla Unit. ?You know what G-Unit stands for? Guerrilla Unit as in warfare, its military inspired,? he clarified. ?And the ?G? in G-Unit also stands for Gangsta, which is associated with 50 Cent.? He divulges the reason for use of the usage of ?gorilla?: ?We try to make [G-Unit Clothing's name] for the general public to embrace it - to make things a little lighter [because] the whole country is at war. My intentions when coming up with the [original] name came from the History Channel. That?s why this is so exciting to me because I?m a dreamer. The only way you can get to where I?m at is through dreaming, because there was a point where no one believed I'd get here but me. So if I didn?t have that in my head, I wouldn?t be able to make it happen - even the clothing companies.?
And for 50 Cent the dreamer, matters boil down to execution of his vision and learning from others that paved roads before him. ?G-Unit clothing did $55 million its first year. Sean John did $23 [million] and Rocawear did $18 [million],? he said. ?So like I said, I don?t mind doing deals behind pole, as long as I do it better. I have their information. I can see what worked for them and what didn?t.? Dreams of peace won?t come to reality for 50 soon. He recently released a new diss record called ?I Run New York? with Tony Yayo, where the G-Unit pair continue to berate Jadakiss and Fat Joe. Yet, in seeming contradiction, the rapper?s G-Unity Foundation donated $200,000 to the Compton Unified School District to help restore their arts and music programs.
American actress Viola Davis is to play 50 Cent's grandmother in the new movie he is to make with Irish director Jim Sheridan.
Variety reports that the film, known as the 'Untitled 50 Cent Project', will see Davis play the grandmother who raised 50 Cent's character, a gangster who becomes a musician. Tony award winner Davis' film credits include 'Solaris', 'Far From Heaven' and 'Out of Sight'. Shooting on the film is expected to begin in the spring.
[May/3/05]Forumula 50 is platinumNEW YORK, NY Thursday Mar.24.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- 50 Cent helped co-create a line of vitamin water called Formula 50 and, by all accounts, it's pretty popular. USA Weekend reports that the drink has sold 10 million bottles since being introduced last October. 50 Cent co-created the drink with beverage marketer Glaceau. To coincide with the release of 50's new album, "The Massacre," Glaceau introduced a platinum label for the grape-flavored Formula 50. So what made a rapper like 50 Cent go into the vitamin water business? 50 explains, "It showed me thinking outside the box. With alcohol, you're not supposed to reach people under 21. I wanted a product that would be sensible to everybody
[March/23/05]50 calls himself a role model50 Cent is no stranger to trouble ? he's done time for drug and gun possession, been shot nine times and has more beefs than a steakhouse. But despite his controversial past, 50 says that his rise as a rapper makes him a positive "If you say, 'Who do you know who has been shot nine times?' kids across America will tell you, '50 Cent.' That's because it's something [the media] decided to point out." ? 50 Cent Why 50 considers himself a role model
"I see myself as a role model because I've been taking advantage of all the options and opportunities that have been created for me," the rapper said last week in London. "They may not consider me as a role model because I write about harsh realities ? the things that actually go on in the environment that I came up in ? and I ain't going to change that. But what I say to the kids is, 'Watch what I do, not what I say.' " Echoing Chuck D's famous comment that hip-hop is the CNN of black America, 50 said his lyrical content takes snapshots of what life is like in the 'hood, and it's his duty to make it an accurate reflection, however violent it might seem. "I'm giving them a photograph, a direct indication, of what this is about, what the actual story is," he said, "and then allow their imagination to go a step further." He went on to say that the depiction of guns in films isn't questioned to the degree that it is in music. "There are standards that are placed on music as an art form that aren't placed on any other form of entertainment," he said. "If we walk into your local video store, imagine how many times we're going to see a gun on the cover of the packaging to advertise an action film. How many war films will we find? How many westerns? See, for me to make a record, and just add a gun to it, they want to make it negative, because of their perception of me. "If you say, 'Who do you know who has been shot nine times?' kids across America will tell you, '50 Cent' immediately," he continued. "That's because it's something [the media] decided to point out, and they make that part of the perception of 50 Cent. I could tell you about my lifestyle, and all the opportunities I've had, but they've clung to that, and every time you see me say that and read about it is because they've asked me about it. It wasn't because I wanted to talk about it. It's not a pleasant thought. It was a painful experience. But they just think, 'Gun violence.' " 50's past hurt his career before it helped. After he signed a deal with Columbia Records in 1999, the label declined to release what was to be his debut, The Power of the Dollar, within months of his stabbing at New York's Hit Factory and his shooting in Queens, New York, in 2000. He's also been "passed over" and "overlooked" at awards shows, he said, because his work is too "aggressive," although he notes that he often performs at awards shows anyway
[march/21/05] BATTLE FO 1 MILLION!!! Jadakiss challenges 50 Cent to pay-per-view battle. Allegedly in a recent interview conducted with The Ave Magazine, Jadakiss stated he would battle 50 Cent in Las Vegas for $1 million dollars. Kiss would want the battle to be broadcasted via Pay-Per View and has even said Jay-Z and Dr. Dre could be judges. SOHH.com contacted The Ave's Editor-in-Chief Anslem Samuel who refuted this claim stating, "Not us, man. We ain't do anything on Jada since the Sharpton issue
[march/20/05]Banks Album info!!! Lloyd Banks is patiently waiting in the wings until his next album drops. He said he's recorded 29 songs thus far and is going to keep making them until just before his album is ready to come out. "I've got a title but I don't want to give that away because the title has a lot of significance to things that happened in my life and something more major may happen from now until it comes out," he explained. "It's basically finished, but on G-Unit records there's so many artists that we all have two or three months to get our shine on. I'm basically gonna keep making records until it's unfair, until I have a 16-track album that's all hit records." Banks continued, "It's gonna change 'cause I've changed," he said of the content of the album. "I wrote half of The Hunger for More in my neighborhood before the finances showed up because I knew this was something that was gonna come. I'm more broad on this album. I'll have different features. I had Eminem, Snoop [last time], this album I'll have Em again, Buck, the whole G-Unit, but I might branch out and do a couple of features they don't expect. I have what I call my 'TRL' records ? the ones I know can go through the roof. I'm trying to get the biggest [guest artists]."

Apparently the Game and 50 Cent have put aside their issues: The two publicly buried the hatchet on Wednesday at a joint press conference held in Harlem.Although the Game and 50 barely made eye contact or spoke to each other at the Schomburg Center, they did shake hands and pose for photographers, and 50 even put his arm around Game. The rappers also donated a combined $253,500 to the Boys Choir of Harlem.50 was the first to address the crowd, which included Rev Run and Russell Simmons, and announced that he and Game were coming together to squash their beef. Game then apologized for his beef with 50 making headlines, and said he was close to being ashamed for the events of last week.PICS!!!!
