June 2, 2003 - Broussard and Sims' Promotions presented a press conference at Zea's restaurant in Lafayette, LA. The press conference was to announce the June 17 "Friday Night Fights" fight card which will take place at the Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette, LA.

All the local fighters that are featured on June 17 were present. Here are some of the highlights of the afternoon.

Kerry Daigle: This is one of the best fight cards the state of Louisiana has ever seen.

Chad Broussard: This card will sell out, I know it. With the guys on this card, there is no doubt, Bobby (Aucoin) is good for 500 tickets, Jeremy (Duplechain) is good for 800, and Blake (Prevost) has at least 1000, and I know myself, I know everyone in Lafayette, I either got loaded with them or got saved with them.

Don Lewis: It is a pleasure to be here in Lafayette, and to finally know how to say it right, after 46 years. This is one of the few times that I have spent my own money to come to a press conference, I wanted to be a part of this from the get go.

Blake Prevost: I'm real excited to be on this show, it is going to be great. There are lot of great fighters from Louisiana, and I am proud to be on it.

Jeremy Duplechain: I'm excited as a fan to see this card. I hope I am one of the first fights on the card so I can watch the rest of fights.

Damien Gallan: I'm happy in my life right now, and I am ready to make my debut.

Bobby Aucoin: I've been training since November waiting for a fight, and now it is here and I am ready to go.
