White Dominates "Bear"!
Southern heavyweight prospect “Lethal” Johnnie White (8–0) pummeled late substitute Ronnie “Bear” Smith (7-36) for 4 rounds before Smith declined to answer the bell to start round 5. The very active White hit Smith with his whole arsenal and managed to knockdown the massive 329lb Smith late in round 3.
White will be back in action at Fitzgerald’s Casino in Tunica, MS on May 20.
Beard Decisions Ballard!
Super lightweight Tafari “2 Piece” Beard (2-1) cruised his way to a 4 round unanimous decision win over Columbus, MS’s Omar Ballard (4-6). The scorecards read 40-36 across the board.
Crosby Stops Stephens!
Lake Charles, La’s Ed Crosby (1-0) made a quick and successful pro debut as he knocked out Shreveport, La’s Jerrick Stephens (1-3) in the opening round.
Soileau Blasts Brown!
In the first bout of the evening Royphy “Enforcer” Soileau (1-8) brutally knocked out Glen “Downtown” Brown (0-16) in the first round of their scheduled 4 round bout. This was Brown’s first bout in over 12 years.
