Hey, it's Andrew. These are some of the groups I've performed with, listed in order. You'll find links to some of the bands' web sites, on which you can find our music. Some will just
have downloadable tracks below, while others will have no proof of existence except for the word of the ex-members. Most of the recordings are not professional, so don't get your hopes up, but some of them sound all right. These demos and links include pretty much all of the songs I've ever recorded (minus a few I'll keep to myself), from the earliest, worst-quality tracks to the most recent ones, which were recorded in a good studio. Oddly enough, the earliest tracks were also done in a pretty good studio, I just wish the quality of the recordings portrayed that. Updating content doesn't really occur much unless a band breaks up or another one is started, but you can find updated information for current musical projects on their respective sites.

Defying Belief - Two punks from Boone who 1)have musicianship and 2)have something to say have decided to spread their thoughts to whoever will listen. Ryan, my musical partner from back in the day, and I decided to start writing music again. After doing nothing but playing acoustic guitar and writing songs for several weeks, we decided to start another band. This one would stay acoustic and just be the two of us. After playing the open mic circuit and a couple of gigs, we ended up finding a drummer and a bass player who have shown both dedication and excellent musical talent, soooo... we decided to keep them. We've just recorded an album locally and, as soon as we are financially able to, will release it!
*Check our website, linked above, to hear some of the full-band recordings we did in the studio. Also available there are tracks that we recorded ourselves as an acoustic duo. Ryan - guitar and vocals Andrew - guitar and vocals John - bass and vocals Alex - drums and vocals |

The Influence - This is a band I have been playing with for about six months now. I recently let the guys know I was quitting because of musical differences and alternate focuses (Defying Belief - see above), but I had an absolute blast playing with them and definately branched out in my writing style. They just found an awesome singer from a local band called "Dial 9" who is in the process of learning tons of material for upcoming shows to complete the transition in the lineup. I just got out of the studio with these guys and the band has five songs ready to distribute!
*Check the website for Past Due, a track from the EP we just recorded and contact us if you want to purchase the album. Keep an eye out for up to seven tracks that I recorded vocals on for the band's re-releasing of thier debut CD, Brainstorm. Andrew - vocals and guitar Elliott - bass and vocals Mike - lead guitar Lew - drums |

Zac, Wes, and Andrew - This was a short-lived, nameless project that was loads of fun, but sadly enough, I had to move away. Wes and I played guitar constantly for a few months when I lived in Charlotte and we came up with quite a few cool tunes. We most regularly played on our electric guitars and we only got to jam a few times with all three of us present, but during a recent trip they made to Boone, we decided to lay down a couple of single-take acoustic tracks. They'll be posted soon. *No vocals on these. We never really came up with solid lyrics. They didn't have room to bring Zack's real set, but being the amazing drummer he is, he played his parts on a keyboard. These tracks are rough, and we kinda made some of it up as we played, but I like them and I hope you do too. Wes - guitar Andrew - guitar Zack - drums |

Now or Never - Punk/Pop-punk band with rock and emo influence that I was in with Ryan and others during the summer of 2002. Formerly known as Never Enough. We didn't ever really get off the ground, we just played a few parties, but we all progressed in our music writing a lot, which I'm sure will help us with any future projects we may try to start. *The website I linked to above does have some recordings of us, but the drums are MIDI and there isn't any bass because we didn't have the capability or funds to record drums. Ryan - guitar, vocals Andrew - guitar, vocals Brandon - drums Chad - bass |

Government Skam - Ska band that Ryan (yes, the same Ryan as above) and I tried to start during Fall '99. Even though we went through about 15 band members to get the "final lineup," the band didn't play ANYWHERE except in my garage like 3 times. *No recordings available. Andrew G - lead vocals Andrew (me) - guitar, vocals James - bass Ryan - trumpet, vocals Ben - trumpet Chris W - bari sax Liz - alto sax Chris K - drums |

Seekers - Christian rock band I was in in early high school ('98-'99). This band, later known as "Sunday Brunch," played quite a few shows in Jamestown, Greensboro, High Point, Charlotte, and Lexington. *If you download any of our demos from the site, you will notice that we sucked when we recorded our album, but we later changed the name of the band and expanded our musical stlyes. The only evidence we have to show that is one cassette of a live recording we did a couple of years after our album, but it's sitting in my room and I don't have the software to "up" the quality if I convert it to a digital file. But check it out, I think our old demos are still online, even though the old stuff wasn't so good. Maybe someday I'll get those live tracks posted. Jason - lead vocals, rythm guitar Andrew - lead guitar, vocals Ted - bass, vocals Taylor - drums |
