Beginning Module |
Module 1 (3 Months) :- Module 1 consists of fundamentals of music as applied to guitars. It comprises of guitar primer, Grade 1,chord formation and patterns, major/minor scales and theory and several exercises. The guitar primer and grade 1 teaches you the core basics of guitar playing which involves sight reading through staff/notations developing timing and ear for music. The Module 1 also involves introduction to playing songs of various genres.
Intermediate Module
Module 2 (4 Months):-Module 2 involves grade 2 and practical applications of guitar techniques. It also involves introduction to Lead guitar techniques and rhythm patterns. It emphasizes on various scales (minors,majors,diminished,pentatonic,etc)arpeggios,modes,various keys,advanced right hand techniques, advanced left hand techniques and co-ordination.
Advanced Module
Module 3 (5 Months):-It involves grade 3 & 4, advanced theories. It consists of lots of interactive training like jamming with the faculty, visiting guitarists and other musicians and exploring their own personal guitar playing capabilities, improvisation techniques and advanced solo lead guitar techniques.
Module 4 ( 4 Months) :- It consists of advanced grades. Module 4 also involves hardcore training in music composing, songwriting and ear training. Several studio visits are a an integral part. The student also gets an opportunity to record their first song professionally.
Please note: Extra sessions might be needed to complete the syllabus of the respective modules if the student is not able to finish off the syllabus within the stipulated duration.Fees would be charged extra for the same.
