History on Guitars
The guitar can only be traced up to the 15th century. It is believed that the guitar came from Spain. Some people believe that it was invented by people of Malaga. At first the guitar had four strings, they were very small. Even though the guitar was a good instrument, but in the Reneissance period it was thought differently. Alonso Mudarra's "Tres Libros de Musica en Cifras para Vihuela" was the first "publication" of guitars. Then, in the Baroque period the fifth string was added. Soon when this period was almost over two drastic changes were made. First, the guitar advanced to six single strings. Then, the double string coverted to single strings. At the time of the Classical period, guitars became very important in concerts and performances. Then the fame of the "GUITAR" was abolished by the end of the 19th century. It is also thought that thanks to Francisco Tarrega and his piece of music called "Recuerdos De La Alhambra" is what "saved" the guitar. Thanks to Francisco Tarrega we have now what is called the "traditional of playing with fingernails". Then Manuel Torres designed a new guitar that was larger, interested in the volume, and would help the sound. He also came up with the "fan" under the top. He became known as " The Father of the Modern Guitar".
