Outdoors
Guinea pigs are commonly housed outdoors and normally with rabbits, but this is the best way to go if you want to kill your piggy friend. Rabbits are a VERY big danger to guinea pigs as they can kick out acidently or purposly and that could result in one very poorly piggy or even a dead piggy, they also have differant dietry requirements as guinea pigs need lots oc vitamin C but rabbits need lots of vitmain A. Guineapigs can be housed outdoors but aslong as they are in a safe, secure, weather proof hutch in a sheltered part of the garden or shed or even an un-used garage. You can find hutches at:
most pet shop guinea pig hutches are too small but rabbit hutches are good sizes.
Indoors
The best place for your guineapig to live is indoors.
make sure the cage is roomy and they have plenty of space to popcorn around!
