To bath your guinea pig use warm not hot water, fill a sink or clean basin with water, up to guinea pigs legs. Wet the pig thoroughly, lather in shampoo - follow shampoo instructions carefully. Rinse well, and keep guinea pig indoors and warm until totally dry. Vet bed is good for keeping them warm and soaking up the water. You can use a quiet hair dryer on cool setting if it doesn't stress them too much.
Do not let young children bath guinea pigs, older teenagers or adult only as they are very quick and slippery when wet.
