Hi, my name is Jen. With great regret I have to rehome my beautiful rabbit and my two cutie guinea pigssad If anyone is interested please let me know. The rabbit is a 3month old, placid, unspayed female; jet black with a little white nosesmile And the pigs are male and female, both 6months old. The male is neutered and they are both brown and white.

Hi Danielle, sorry for the delay in getting back. Hopefully you have found a piggy by now. A good option for your guineapig would be having him neutered and after 5 to 6 weeks introducing him to a female guinea pig. Another alternative is to pair him up with a just weaned baby male guinea on neutral territory.
Although it is very important that you seek out an experienced small animal vet if you are having him neutered.
For more information on boars do check out barmy4boars, you'll find their link on our links page. Hope this helps.

Found the site by accident - but so glad i did big grin. I live in the uk, and have 7 guinea pigs 4 female and 3 males all my males are neutered and in the summer they all rampage around together. I also foster piggies for a rescue but only have one at the moment, I just want to say that i found your emergency and first aid page fantastic and this will be of great help as sometimes we get poorly piggies in out of surgery hours and the bills are crippling. Cheers!
