Painting onto the glaze of china, porcelain and ceramic is a highly organised skill these five talented artists use to transform  their creative vision into exquisite,  dazzling  works of art.

Their original designs are applied to the plain white surface over the course of several firings at around 800 degrees centigrade,  using on-glaze colours,  relief,  lustres and precious metals such as gold and platinum.   During the firing process  the heat melts the glaze enough to accept the paint  and when the china cools,  the design is set within the glaze forever,

Following their very successful EXHIBITION at the GUILDFORD POTTERS GALLERY IN 2008, they are now creating NEW WORK  for their 2009 EXHIBITION  opening on May 30th and continuing until June 21st
