Mark Human and Kelee Arrowsmith are the Chief Instructor and Guardian of AMOK, respectively. They developed a lot of the defensive capability of South Africa's Guardian Angels and are HIGHLY recommended!
AMOK! is a blade-based combat system focusing on real-life combat systems. It is a mentality first that is best expressed by the blade, but easily translated to alternative weapons and empty hand skills, and a system of combat second. This combative mentality gave rise to certain tactics and techniques in combat and developed into a method of developing reflexes to adapt to a changing chaotic situation and apply them. It must be emphasised that AMOK is NOT a martial art, but a combative methodology. More information can be found at: www.amok.co.za and www.edgedweaponsolutions.com.

The folks at Parow Pick & Pay have been staunch supporters of the Guardian Angels concept ever since it was launched in Cape Town in 2005. They have generously contributed material to combat graffit, sponsored meals during our anniversary festivities and on 20/09/2007 they gave us our greatest donation to date!
The R10 000 they donated will be used to further our work in Cape Town and will enable us to keep up things like email facilites, maintain this site, equip members and pay for fuel.
If you are looking for a friendly shop (you'll see what I mean when you walk into their establishment - just look at the tellers faces!), find it on the corner of Voortrekker and Jan van Riebeeck in Parow, Cape Town.
Parow Lions Club, a member club of the International Association of Lions Clubs, was chartered in 1965. It has a proud record of humanitarian community service which proudly upholds the international motto "We Serve". The voluntary members all pay annual dues of R600,00 as it is the members contribution which funds the organisation and public money which finances our service projects.
Members are drawn from many different areas and the club thrives on its multicultaralism with everyone dedicated to the common objective of assisting those in need.
The club has many unique projects and is known for its innovative approach to fundraising and marketing.
