Guardian Angels South Africa

Hi all Guardian Angels,

 

Cape Town, South Africa, is hosting the 2010 World Soccer Cup, and a recent conversation with Keiji 'Duke' Oda (Japan) and Curtis 'Rock' Sliwa GA President and Founder) led to this invite.

 

We would like to invite Guardian Angels from EVERYWHERE to join us in 2010 to assist with security measures and to experience patrols in a city where your skills will be tested to the max!

 

Cape Town has 3,8 million inhabitants and some of the most spectacular scenery in the world (ask Angel 1, Shish, Confront, Tut, Crowbar, and Bull - they've been here).

 

GA Japan were the first to offer assistance and Angel 1 suggested that I extend the invite to all Angels everywhere.  Your visit will include an intensive, free, full-day knife threat recognition skills and defense seminar by AMOK,SA!  This alone would be worth more than your plane-ticket. During the World Cup our primary function will be patrols around the sport stadiums where all the action will be, interacting with the local police and other emergency services.  Since Cape Town is expecting a HUGE influx of foreign visitors the sight of recognizable uniforms from all over the world will be a very good stabilising influence.

 

Accomodation, transport and meals will be organised by the Cape Town chapter, depending on the number of indications of interest.  Fortunately a lot of time remains so that members from abroad will be able to start working on getting funds together for airfare, souvenirs etc.
