Guardian Angels South Africa

Guardian Angels is the world’s oldest and largest non-profit, volunteer, public safety patrol organization; and probably the most powerful life skills, crime prevention and community involvement concept in the world.  We are un-armed, high-visibility crime prevention volunteers who also serve as role models for youth.  We carry no weapons, rather relying on communication skills and high-payload, state-of-the-art, empty-handed combat training to ensure our safety.  We deter gangs by recruiting the same people they target as members and prevent drug abuse both through direct action as well as through giving young people an indestructible self-esteem. 

Our compassion also extends to animals and the natural environment and includes combatting threats like global warming through greening projects in cities and rural areas.
