The Granville Taylor Collection

The Taylor-Made Vest Servante.                                                                             

        In 2006 Granville Taylor saw a vintage vest servante of  German origin on eBay, and it sold for £200.00.  He decided that he could make a better one from "Dural" for next to nothing, already having some "Dural" in stock.  "Dural", or "Duralumin" to give it its full name, has the same strength as steel but only half the weight, and it is the material that John Martin, the Master Magical Mechanic would have used.   Granville Taylor made this vest servante in three days.
