Congratulations to Chilledheat86 of the PpR club, hailing from Hampshire England! He is the “Forza World Champion!”
It was a long and hard 15week season not without some controversy, but through it all Chilledheat86 remained stoically assured this third time around that he would get into the final to position himself for a title run.
Was no easy challenge in this 60 man field either, not with the likes of several notables such as Forza Match Race Champion Gonein60, former two-time Forza World Champion and Grand-AM Cup Champion Eries, FWC4 champion BigRedRhino. High ranking leader board racers like, Chimera, REXPWR, Chrisupra, Flex B, Redhawk, Peoples King, Virus, also the always fast racing veterans, ACE1982, SP33D RAC3R, GTDon, DrumZ3453, Derex1217 and VdubzKiKAzz.
The last man to stand in the eventual Champions way was GTDon. Unknown on the leader boards, GTDon quietly worked his way through the ranks of the championship with a perfect winning record. As the race organizer and promoter he was not expected by the pundits to go all the way to the final. When he did arrive, he came as an admitted long shot to win the title. But once again, just as in FWC3, GTDon will have to settle for 2nd place.
Chilledheat86 will receive his customary one-off paint job for winning the Championship, a D1 1972 Nissan/Datsun 240ZX with period racing livery. He will also be sent his grand prize, an Xbox video game.
Thanks to all the finalists for providing us with some very high quality racing and exciting moments throughout the season. We hope that all of you will return, especially the Forza World Champion Chilledheat86 next season, to compete in the first professional FWC as sanctioned by the IFCA, when Forza2 arrives.
As everyone knows by now, “There can be only one” Forza World Champion, and this time around Chilledheat86 is #1. Well done!
