Production Co. Design project
Instructions:
1. At the interview time, both groups are to sit together and the interviewer is to ask the other group questions. These questions are designed to gather info about the group, its members and its mandate. Be sure every member in the group takes notes...!!! You will work in pairs....not with your entire group.
2. Once you have interviewed and have been interviewed, break up into your pairs. Each group will have 1, 2 or 3 pairs...-thus as many as 3 designs will be produced on one prod. co.Use the remaining time to create your dvd layout sketches and your sketches/designs for the productions co. design project.
3. You will work in pairs....for both projects.
When complete, each pair will have created ...
- a business card and postcard for the production co. they interviewed.
- one dvd portfolio of both members class work and bonus work

DVD PORTFOLIO CREATION
You will create a dvd with a partner. This dvd will be a combination of you and your partners group work and individual work, as well as bonus work that both of you have created together or individually.
You will use idvd to create this dvd portfolio. You have been assigned to a MAC. be sure to use the right one...you will need to log into your mac...you may use your prod co. account or you may request a new one for you and your partner.

the postcard
The post card is your opportunity to advertise yourself in a larger visual space then a business card. Create your work in a 4X6" template..this allows you to print it at any photo store...matt or glossy for about $0.20 each !!! here are some examples...provided by the artist with special permission. Good luck to you !
