GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE AND RE-HOMING CHARITY

Six ways of helping the Charity

Home

By becoming a member of G.S.D. 2000. All members receive a window/windscreen sticker, four magazines a year, all full of news concerning everything going on in the Charity, interesting items sent in by members and stories of some of the dogs re-homed. Membership fees are £10 for a single membership, £15 for a family and £150 for a lifetime.

By making a donation. Cheques are always welcome because G.S.D. 2000 loses money on every dog re-homed. By the time kennelling fees are paid (sometimes for many months before the right home is found), veterinary treatment is provided, all animals passing through Charity care are neutered, and home-checks are carefully carried out, any donations given for the dogs themselves is a tiny percentage of the money expended.

By sponsoring a dog in long-term care. G.S.D. 2000 guarantee to take their dogs back at any time should the keeper's circumstances change and they are unable to continue to keep their dog for any reason. In the case of older dogs which would be very difficult to re-home, foster carers are used, which provide the dog with a loving home and the Charity sets up an arrangement to pay for its veterinary treatment.

By visiting or donating items for sale in our Holsworthy Shop. Subject to where you are living, collection can often be arranged.

By offering various skills - and if you live close enough to Holsworthy - by volunteering your time to help by working in the Charity Shop.

FINALLY, last but not least, by remembering us in your Will.

YOUR HELP IS ALWAYS NEEDED AND MUCH APPRECIATED
