There is nothing more amazing than a young one's birth. I am fortunate to have two young men as my sons who are wondrous examples of the miracle of that birth. They are my joy, my happiness and my world. In my soul, however, was a hunger for the birth of something different, an examination of my thoughts, a convulsive explosion of the words which had been dormant in my brain for so long. For you see, I am, like all of us, a teller of stories, a singer of songs, a poet in love with his world. I have been writing for many years, but I never thought about exposing my writing to the world, because I thought the world would not find these works worthy or comforting. In my mind, I guess, they were flawed and not of high quality. Nevertheless, they were alive, born of the mind which speaks to you now. These works may not ever gain popularity among the masses, but they WILL see the light of day...
Each of you who reads any of my works, or feels any of the emotions I have portrayed in them shall understand that he or she, too, can expose the thoughts within. The process need not be foreboding or ominous. A simple notepad or a small recording device will begin to set your brain on the right track. So come, join me, write of your life, write of your imagination! Sing the songs of your soul. Nothing can stop you. Only you can change the way the world sees you. And you can do so with words which are full and abundant and free. No man can tell you that what you feel is worthless. No person shall scoff at your works. And even if they were to try, the world might embrace you anyways. That is the promise of this world...
My sermon is done. I hope you enjoy some of what I have placed upon this electronic page. Please feel free to converse with me, because I cannot do this alone. Please sign the guestbook and let me know what you think of my work. And when you are ready, I will do the same for you. For you have my word on it...
